This is the guy who’s sworn to IGNORE the wishes of his voter. I don’t think he knows what “treason” means.

Democrats should be very careful when using the word ‘treason’. The last thing they want to do is have every one of their anti-war speeches from the last 8 years replayed over and over and over and...

MASSA: I mean, what Grassley said the other day was an act of treason.

Inigo Montoya: You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

MASSA: I will vote for the single payer bill.

PARTICIPANT: Even if it meant you were being voted out of office?

MASSA: I will vote adamantly against the interests of my district, if I actually think what I am doing is going to help them.

(inaudible participants’ comments regarding the “interests” of the district statement from Mr. Massa)

MASSA: I will vote against their opinion if I actually believe it will help them.

In a conference call today, Mr. Massa told journalists,(audio from call at link):

“There comes a time when members of Congress sometimes must vote against popular opinion because they know it is in the interest of their districts in the country.”

The New York congressman also quoted former president Ronald Reagan to defend his position.:

“We must have the courage to do what we know is morally right.”

It should be noted that 1961 audio of the former president is circulating around the web, where Mr. Reagan speaks out against socialized medicine.

Heh, Treasonous... Almost ALL of our Representatives and Senators vote for things that are against the Constitution every day! When will we decide to do something about it!

It is getting so that only the outrageous gets any media - the idiotic things that they vote for gets no media - no matter if it is actually against the Constitution...

One of these days...the people will revolt and it won’t be pretty...

Exactly which enemy did Grassley give aid and comfort to?

Wait, don’t answer that...
