Employers and their employees have functioned as ‘co-ops’ of a sort for years. Worked pretty well too!
Gov run coops are not true co-ops
"It's people. Soylent Green is made out of people. They're making our food out of people. Next thing they'll be breeding us like cattle for food. You've gotta tell them. You've gotta tell them!"
What would be the federal government’s role?
A: The government would provide up to $6 billion to get co-ops started. After a few years it would turn over all operations to the co-ops’ governing boards, and the co-ops would become self-sustaining.
herein is the devil. Do you really believe that “after a “few” years) it would turn over all operations to the co-ops’ governing boards”. And if you do, who do you think would be on the “governing boards”? I think government fascists.
We cannot trust anything like this which is so loosely written. Remember the transparency promised when obamanation hired a company for that purpose? And now that company says “their contract” doesn’t say they have to turn over truth”. Watch out for Obamanation and Rahm, they are both evil to the core and would and have double crossed everyone they can to further their communist agenda.
NOTHING that comes out having to do with healthcare in this congress or house is good for us. Nothing.
I cant believe how many members of Congress are buying this idea. It takes only a modicum of intelligence to understand that much of the outcome depends not on the doctor but the PATIENT.
The doctor doesn't control whether the patient complies with the treatment plan.
Apparently they had one in Iowa that failed in about 2 yrs.
That may be Plan B....form non-viable co-ops, and when they ultimately collapse (since we can’t let those poor people go without healthcare) they will be taken over by...anybody?...Buehler?....Buehler?
Will only set the plan for single payer back by 2 yrs. then.
