Democrat politicians have a long history of being one guy back home and a completely different guy in DC. Too bad for them now that the junk media has lost it monopoly on the news cycle, that tactic of being right at home and left in DC isn't nearly as effective as it once was.
The Blue Dogs have no bite anymore. They’re now more like lap dogs than anything else.
“The Blue Dogs need to realize that Nancy Pelosi is Marshall Petain. She is sending them into to battle not caring whether they survive just hoping to win the war.”
EXCELLENT!
What did JOhn McCain just say about the Blue Dogs? Their bark is louder than their bite, then they become lap dogs, roll over, and pretend to play dead.
Politicians are just politicians and all of them want power. Only a few good men are in government and they have failed to do the right thing for the American people as they are silent, always silent. All democrats are marxists now. Many rinos are marxists. And the good men are silent and do nothing and most if not all of them are conservative republicans.
Fascism has the upper hand at this moment. Getting along is a disaster, partisanship would help us but politicians are fools.
Are the Blue Dogs Thinking?
“My” blue dog has the attitude that he knows better than his constituents, so he’s going to vote for it anyway - and no townhalls to face the music.
Wow, just WOW! I think I wrote that down when drunk once and thought it was pretty profound.
There’s a “Blue Dog” rep in Tucson. She’s no Blue Dog. The Arizona Daily Star published their “full transcript” of an interview of Gabby Giffords that was done some time in the last few weeks. It’s probably still running on their front page. Anywho, the woman is all over the place regarding health care. I would post the interview, but the ADS is a Gannett publication. Gabby said in the interview that one of the most wonderfulest parts of “the bill,” though she repeatedly says there is no bill, is the healthcare IT funding. They are going to fund an IT system that will keep track of your medical care, including whether or not you fill your scripts. That way your doctor can look to see whether or not you’ve taken your Prozac and can further treat you accordingly. Isn’t that wonderful? (she gave an example of a diabetic not filling diabetes scripts, but that’s irrelevant. I wonder if they’re going to link to your grocer to find out if Grandpa has been sneaking donuts despite his diabetes.)
I stand by my prediction from two weeks ago (”What If They don’t Care?”) that there are two things that cause the Blue dogs to not be influenced by their constituents: 1) many of them think the voters will forget and that they’ll get back in anyway after a year has gone by; and 2) many of them have been bought off already by O with future administration jobs if they lose in 2010. Then there is a third chilling alternative: they may not be “moderates” at all, but radical libs posing as moderates to get through a “doomsday machine,” and, marxist-like, they don’t CARE if they lose if it advances the machine.
OOps. She said that Healthcare IT was in the stimulus bill. They’re already working on keeping track of whether or not you fill your scripts.
I think it is time for the right wing purists to go out and start their own third party and see what they can accomplish.
You can post the link to the transcript if it’s still available
Your blue dog will face the music in 2010. The fat lady is gonna sing.

They know they are stuck in the middle. Their only hope is cheating by ACORN.
We’re demonstrating outside his office this Saturday.
But I doubt he’ll be there.
The grades do not surprise me at all. There is not one liberal that does not like tax increases. (Except when it affect them)
