BELGRADE, Mont. — President Obama on Friday accused some insurance companies of trying to undermine his plans for overhauling health care by “funding in opposition,” a comment that could inflame tensions at a time when Mr. Obama is hoping to keep insurers at the negotiating table.
The president, who did not mention any company by name, made the comment in a question and answer session at a town-hall-style meeting here. He was responding to an insurance salesman who challenged him on why the White House had decided to “vilify the insurance companies” by shifting its strategy from talking about reshaping health care to emphasizing changes in health insurance.

It's as if the president doesn't understand the American people. From what I can tell, the president has a twisted perspective of our country. It's almost as if any opposition must come from well funded community organizing, and no other source. I almost feel sorry for the man.
He needs to prove it or admit to making it up.
Obama's problem is that he wants to push this monstrosity on America come hell or high water in pursuance of his "funamental" marxist change for America...and he is running into a brigk wall.

I think you’ve hit the nail on the head. He has such a narrow set of actual experiences that he assumes everyone else operates the same way he and his allies do. Which, tactically, makes him predictable. Some smart folks are going to figure out how to lead him into the swamp because they’re going to be able to anticipate all his reactions.

Regarding the insurance companies, didn’t Obama and Nancy Pelosi tell us a few weeks ago how they were on board with the plan, and were offering $80 billion in concessions on drug prices? Or was that pharmaceutical companies?
