It's starting to feel like 1995 all over again.
For 64 years, the Democrats possessed a monopoly of power in the House of Representatives (the two interruptions in 1946 and 1952 when the GOP eked out a tiny majority then quickly lost it don't count).
The Dems' arrogance and conviction they had a moral "divine right" to their monopoly doubled in size when the Pubs tore themselves apart in an internal power struggle, with newcomer Newt Gingrich replacing long-serving Bob "You've got to go along to get along" Michael as Minority Leader.
The Dems laughed at Newt's "Contract With America" as an amateurish and typically "stupid Republican" campaign ploy for the 1994 mid-term elections. They couldn't care less over the tidal wave of public anger building up over their arrogance - and that of the new Dem president, who was trying to ram a government seizure of health care down the throats of Americans.
They were gobsmacked when they lost 50 seats and their majority to the Pubs, and were in a state of catatonic shock when Newt became Speaker Gingrich on January 4, 1995.
The Republicans were on a roll, Big Government was to be rolled back to its Constitutional limits, our Republic was to be rescued from the miasma of liberal cultural destruction, the Democrat Party was to be dismantled like the Soviet Union.
It was all over 105 days later. On April 19, 1995, the Oklahoma City Federal Building was blown up by a man portrayed as a right-wing anti-government terrorist.
Bill Clinton, the Democrats in Congress, and the entire gang of their enablers in the media were able to smear the Gingrich Republicans and anyone advocating less government control over their lives with the brush of "right-wing terrorist" Timothy McVeigh.

Don't think that Nancy Pelosi's accusation of "un-American mobs" of "angry right-wing" protestors at town halls "waving swastikas" was an emotional outburst. It was setting the stage. Folks, we are being set up.
I must admit -- I had the same thought when I first started hearing Pelosi talking about "nazi" and "swastikas." It was too far of a stretch (even for Stretch Pelosi) ... unless it was prelude to something yet to come.
The problem (for Pelosi and Obama, that is) is that the American people are not buying it. And the Internet is preventing them from monopolizing the flow of disinformation.
Middle America...conservatives the target....have they been waiting for this? That’s the question......

I am sitting here stunned. Oklahoma didn’t vote for Clinton either. Last time they voted for a Dem for President was LBJ and been getting redder for President since then. ZERO only got 34% of the vote and at the time of Murrah Bombing the legislature was run by the DemocRATs. Now we have a Republican legislature with a Doofus Democrat for Governor who loves Obama.
We used to be able to drive on the Air Force bases with a decal — now you have to show your ID. Security around our federal buildings is tight. Anything is possible though.
They better think twice before pulling another Murrah disaster here. I will always believe that the Clintons knew it was going to happen and the those infant’s deaths are on their hands. In the Bombing Museum part is a huge picture showing the Memorial Service with everyone devastated except Clinton and his wife who look like the cat that swallowed the canary. Every time I have been there people make the same comment around us.

Problem was, the Pubs squandered it by trying to be "nice" to the enemy. It's like trying to be "nice" to terrorists, they will still try to kill you no matter what.
That’s NOT the issue...it’s the evildoers in the WH now and will they attack conservatives...Wheeler believes it’s coming...sometimes Wheeler misses it...he mostly does not. I hope he misses this one.

As a guy who was one of the cops who responded to the Murrah Building, and saw what happened there from start to finish, I can only hope that some political hack wouldnt even let then thought of something that atrocious cross their mind in order to place blame on the other side.
However, I can honestly say that when I heard the reports of Congressman Scott having a swastika spray painted on his office sign, my first immediate thought was that the Obama crowd was responsible for it because they are the only side which has continually repeated the “swastika” mantra repeatedly.
I dont put anything below this group of bottom feeders.

Wheeler is out of his frigging mind, he is trying to stir up resentment. President Obama would be welcomed here with the same enthusiasm and dignity that New Hampshire residents displayed.
Don't count on it. All big cities, OKC included suffer from the liberal disease, and the sick will be out in force.
