The media have repeatedly stated how "angry," "hostile" and "ugly" town hall meetings across America are becoming. They are of course largely ascribing the nastiness to conservatives voicing their opposition to (among other things) President Barack Obama and Congress' proposed government takeover of the health care system.
The press has been particularly offended by the "extreme" use of references to Adolf Hitler specifically and Nazis generally. One image they have repeatedly used as an example of this alleged right-wing extremism is a poster of President Obama - on whose face a Hitler mustache has been Photo Shopped - bearing the caption "I've Changed."
But there's a problem with this media narrative.

When we were standing in line to go to Senator Cardin’s Town hall meeting, we were approached by LaRouche supporters who were handing out booklets, about the size of those the Jehovah’s Witnesses like to hand out. Some people took them, but when we informed them about LaRouche, the booklets were quickly put in trash cans.
Then when I was seated in the auditorium, about 4 cameramen began to focus on something beyond my shoulder. I turned around and there was a woman holding up this booklet in front of her face. Whether she was using it to hide her face, or she was promoting the LaRouche message, I don’t know, but I think it was the latter.
It is a shame that these relatively few people are so energetic and involved in every public venue, that their presence can be used to smear all conservatives.
When the left paraded around posters of Bush as Hitler, it was so, like, ya know, really cool.

How would the media react? Would they join in agreeing that Bush *was* Hitler but zer0 isn’t? Or would they take the “high” road and try somehow to convince us they were outraged back then when others did this to Bush? Or would they fault Rush for making the comparisons in the first place, ignoring what has gone on in the past?
I think this would make the State Controlled American Media’s head explode.

Members of these “news” outlets frequently use the exact same talking points, even to the point of using the exact same words. What are their sources? Do they all use the same sources? Are there any real investigative reporters out there who can tell us.

The media didn’t focus on the death threats against Bush at the so called “peace” protests. They didn’t focus on the antiSemitic and pro-Palestinian war signs at the so called “antiwar” protests. The media covered up to turn the public against the war.
