Speaking of “Ewww”, a friend said the other day after her 10 year old leaned how babies are actually born, she swears she will only adopt ;-)

When my now 11yo was about 8 she grabbed hold of one of our tom cats and tossed him away from our oldest female and stated “Leave her alone, she’s not having any more kittens.”
She doesn’t need sex ed in school, she’s learned it all from the barn cats..............LOL

Well, I hope someone takes the time to educate this young person about the realities of adoption, among a myriad of other realities.
Seriously, an aversion to procreation as a result of too early exposure to the physical aspects of childbirth is a definite risk.
IIRC, this was mentioned in Hans Brinker and the Silver Skates (but my reading of that was a long time ago, as well as one HRRKeating mystery set in India.
I rather doubt childbirth is much of a topic in "sex education." The dangers of exposure to that are much worse and likely can't be easily remedied.

(Now if we can only get the rest of the "republican" leaders to stand up to the liberals.)
