I actually have a theory that Black voters are the next big conservative group.

Expand on that please as I live in Cincinnati, which is about 40% hyphenated-Americans (with a gay black mayor, clueless thug-ette Cole on council) and let me tell you, the kool-aid flows freely in this town.

Actually many black voters are more conservative than most whites if you talk to them about basic attitudes concerning the role of government. Unfortunately most of them seem unable to sort out the truth from the constant barrage of lies coming at them from the Democrats. I can testify from direct knowledge that the majority of black people in my area think that Abraham Lincoln was a Democrat and that every piece of legislation that ever benefitted black people was passed by Democrats who had to overcome Republican resistance. They think Strom Thurmond was a Republican when he was a staunch segregationist, they don’t know he was ever a Democrat and they never heard of the “Dixiecrats”. They also think George Wallace was a Republican when he was standing in school house doors to stop black children from entering. If they ever heard of “Bull” Connor they think he was a Republican. It seems that the majority of what they KNOW about politics is dead wrong. If black people ever start living in the real world the Democrats will be a fringe party that will never win another election.

What I don’t understand is the willingness of black people to disregard any black person who tells them the truth about politics. Alan Keyes, Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams and many others who are revered by white people are thrown under the bus by blacks.

One black conservative that I have known for years spoke at the recent tea party near my home and was very well received but if I mention his name to other black people around here they speak of him with contempt. They cannot stand it when he asks them why do they keep voting for a party that wants to keep them in bondage.
