$150 million for $1 trillion is a pretty good deal.

BO has probably threatened them with internment.

Would stockholders have any power to make these companies re-think their positions?

Maybe someone can explain to me what they stand to gain in this mess? And how does the Chicago Thug expect companies to be putting in all that work to develop new drugs?

I'm quite sure that any dissent expressed at stockholder meetings would be deemed "racist".

That 150 million would have gone a long way in research for a cure for cancer...instead, it has gone to a "cure" for a chairman zer0 "takeover" of the drug company.

I'd like to know the companies involved so I can tell my doc to NOT prescribe anything they make...but wait, I'm 63 so I'll be getting my "end of life" interview in a couple of years, so it won't matter.

I guess that "end of life" stuff doesn't apply to commiebama and his minions either.

>>> These industry asses who agree to “work with” obama think they can stay off the menu by sitting at the table <<<<

That particular "industry ass" would be Billy Tauzin, 25-year REPUBLICAN Congressman - now president of the Pharma lobbying firm in DC - who cut a secret deal to exempt the pharmaceutical industry from $80 BILLION in proposed new "costs" from "health care reform."

The taxpayers, of course and as expected, will pay those "costs" instead.

So it's really just another "go along to get along" K Street lobbying maneuver in the disgusting DC tradition that is utterly contemptuous of everyday America.

It is all about taking away “competition” and making the citizens more “dependent” on Government. Plus eliminating freedom of choice.

Communism, Fascism, Marxism or some hybrid of all 3.

Not American, Not United States= Totalitarianism

It’s called extortion by an all too powerful government. They know the consequence of NOT spending that money.

It's a desperation move.

They think they can feed the beast and stay safe from it.

They have forgotten the beast will eat everything eventually. Nothing is safe. Communism will consume ALL free market entities.

I was thinking more in the way of trading the stock or just selling it. If enough people did that someone might pay attention.

These companies will no longer have to please consumers and stockholders. Just please one man. It’s much easier. The consumer is now out of the loop with no choices.
