McCain undecided on vote for Sotomayor

WASHINGTON (AP) - Sen. John McCain says he is still on the fence when it comes to voting for Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor.

McCain says he is examining Sotomayor's record as an appeals court judge to decide whether she understands the limits to judicial power. He voted against her when she was nominated to the appeals court.

A Senate vote is expected this week.

The Arizona Republican says the prospect of Sotomayor becoming the first Hispanic on the high court is part of the discussion, and calls her a great American success story.

Two of McCain's close Senate colleagues differ on Sotomayor. Arizona's Jon Kyl is voting against her while South Carolina's Lindsey Graham plans to vote to confirm.

McCain spoke to CNN's "State of the Union" for its Sunday broadcast.

Just like the “moderate” skit Rush has on his show, where the fence-sitting moderate can’t make a decision on anything.

...”great American success story...”

The same was touted for Barry, now for Sotomayor.
Personally, “great American success story” is being overly utilized as an excuse to ‘ok’ bad politicians, judges, etc.

When America is destroyed or as Barry once espoused, “fundamentally changed,” it will be too late to say, “Gee, maybe I should not have swallowed all that ‘great American success story’ BS.”

The fact that McLame is “undecided” on this racist, anti-gun moron is very telling as to just what a waste that he is.

Go away, Juan-boy. You are useless.

Yep, and he would have destroyed the Republican Party for good, at least with Obama in the WH, the GOP has an opportunity to regroup.

McClame. I hope Arizona dumps that chump. I wonder if the VC brainwashed him when he was captured. I have heard they tried to turn prisoners with brainwashing.

So much for how much "better" an option McCain would have been for SJC appointments.

The wanker.

And as Rush put it, “This is why there is no book called, ‘Great Moderates in History.’”

Just an attempt to retain some 'vestige' of a trace of viability as a 'meaningful' contributor to the process. He will, of course, vote for her for it's just as the scorpion who stung the turtle carrying him across the river on his back said when the turtle asked why? knowing he would drown.

The scorpion's reply? "I just couldn't help myself!" In this regard, it is in McLame's makeup to do likewise to the conservatives in this country.

I would guess about a 1 in 100 shot he votes against.

Just milking the subject for media attention.
