I love when I’m in someone’s house and they give me the ‘ol “Oh, he/she won’t bite you, he/she’s a sweetheart.” As if their saying that brings anyone any comfort at all.

If you have a dog don’t let it get close to guests, people. Don’t assume they’re diggin’ the fact that your dog is showing them attention. It’s so rude.

If your guest is fearful of strange dogs, as many people are, they will probably not want to ‘rock the boat’ by telling you to remove your dog from their space. But they will likely not want to return to your home again.

If they call it over then fine.

This happened to me the other day at a customer’s home. I f***king hate dogs jumping on me or sniffing around me.

Don’t get me wrong, I love dogs. But I get pissed when people allow their canine collection invade my space or climb me like a tree as soon as I walk in the door.

One of only a few PET peeves I have.

Love me, love my dog.

Even if it pees on you or gives you a wet smooch right in the kisser.

That’s bad behavior on a dog’s part. All dogs should be trained to keep their distance unless invited. Shame on the owners!

Regarding the article, I wonder if the woman had the pit in order to defend her against the guy who violated the protection order? If so, he didn’t do his job.

I have a divorced friend who has a rottie for protection. He is very well behaved; she knows her way around large dogs and how to train them.
