Several readers have written over the past few days taking us to task for dismissing so-called birthers as lunatics without bothering to refute their claims. We reluctantly concede their point. The birthers have managed to sow confusion in the minds of some who are not lunatics, and for the latter group’s benefit it is worth clarifying matters.

Well, if he were to show a long form, you have to admit there would be pretty good odds of it being fake in light of the fact that his COLB and Selective Service forms were proven fake.
And of course he can’t be a natural born citizen because of his foreign father. How pray tell could he be a natural born citizen when the moment he was born his citizenship was Kenyan and British, from his father? The idea that citizens of other countries can legally be POTUS is delusional. If you disagree with that, then you’re saying that absolutely every person on this entire planet can be POTUS which would make you an absolute full-blown deranged lunatic fringe tin foil hat wearing kool-aid drinking kook.

The discussions on this issue, as well as, any issue near and dear to conservatives needs robust antagonists to improve our debating tactics and the expression of our positions.

Exactly. How do we stop Obama's multiple government takeovers if people can't even be bothered to make sure he's eligible to hold the office that he's doing the taking over from in the first place?
If I have poison ivy growing in my backyard, I don't trim each leaf as they sprout, but I pluck it up by the roots. Obama's lack of willingness to expose nearly everything about his entire life is the root of this problem, and pulling at this root will cause the rest of his ridiculous, poisonous 'vision' for America to die, if he is in fact the usurper that he appears to be to many people.
Of course, he could just show that he is eligible to hold the office in the first place, and live up to his promise of 'transparency.' I guess that makes too much sense to the 'anti-birthers.'

Rusty Humphries has a nationally syndicated radio show in the evenings.
A couple of months ago ( and I posted this then and a couple times since )
Humphries was discussing the BC.
He used to think it was a big nothing, but, the stonewall has convinced him otherwise.
He said on his show that when he had previously interviewed Gov Lingle, off air ,
during a break he asked her-
“ Have you seen Obama’s birth certificate ? “
She replied “ No.”
He asked her if she thought he would have to produce the long form and she said No,
because he had been elected and
there was nothing anyone could do about it now.
Well, the problem is not that I can’t take the heat, and anyone who has seen me around knows that. I’ve been here a lot on these threads. That’s never been the problem about taking the heat... LOL...
The issue is, more particularly — that the moderator is going to come in and start slamming people around for being “personal” and attacking others... that’s the issue that I’m talking about. I’ve already seen it happen a number of times and it’s a useless exercise to see how much heat can be dealt out. All that happens is that people get shut down...
So, let’s don’t say that people can’t take the heat, but that it’s not a good idea to deal out the heat and have everything erupt in flames...
They have been ignoring atleast in print; the obvious use of Alinksky rules. Remember Clintons “right wing extremists” used to demonize anyone that was sane to take the heat of off them.

Well, that ain’t getting anywhere, is it? What I want to know is if you’re going to be able to talk and hold a conversation here? And that’s a legitimate question and I’m asking it that way.

Now, as he goes lower in the polls, every day he becomes more vulnerable on the birth certificate issue

Instead you have conservatives looking for a pat on the head from their Obama-tron friends and media. Trying to earn brownie points for acting "responsible"
There are some of us who've been here for years before you showed up, who would consider someone like yourself a contributing factor in any perceived devolution of discourse.
All Obamao has to do is show a verifiable long-form birth certificate, not .jpg that shows up on a political crank website.
