Yeah, for once, I agree with something Bill Clinton did.

Rush made a good point today: he said that Obama’s way of handling the country is to fragment us, to stir up a hatred of a different group every week. First it was the bank execs, then it was the car execs, the insurers, then it was cops (which he tried but it didn’t work) and now it’s fat people. He thrives when we will all turn around and he points to the villain and pick up stones to drive this evil away.

It’s OK. If I’m drinking a Coke or Sprite or anyother “soft” drink, it’s always a diet version.

I don’t even remember the last time I had a soft drink with sugar in it.

I drink a lot of flavored fizzy water in the summertime.

I’d rather have a good glass of wine with my bacon cheeseburger and fries or onion rings also.

A friend and I have actually taken wine and good glasses to the drive in for our burgers and wine.

There’s entirely too much food and eating guilt in the world now.

We’re all gonna die anyway.

I do not like the taste of the 12 teaspoons of sugar that's in a regular 12 oz. coke.

LOL! It's a long time since there was any sugar in Coke (or any other soft drink, AFAIK). It's been all high fructose corn syrup for years. (I used to like Coke when it was still sweetened with sugar.)

I think that is a splendid idea, especially if the monstrosity is passed. We need to spend our days calling all of our reps for health advice while reminding them that they are the government who controls all of our health decisions. Good plan, mad.

Good for him! Nothing wrong with a hamburger and fries every now and again. My father used to have hamburgers all the time. He was never overweight. He never had a heart problem. And he lived on soda fountain food at the drug stores he ran for 45 years.

Even up here, I guess they make a limited run of Coke with sugar at Passover for sale in Jewish neighborhoods, since corn syrup isn’t kosher-for-Passover. Sells out fast though!

[ puts McMuffin in front of Male Customer ] ..to Somalia.. but it's not getting to the people who need it because.. [ brings McMuffin back to himself ] ..it's being intercepted by the warlords.. [ chews McMuffin some more ] And it's not just us. It's other countries, too.. [ grabs a McNugget from another customer ] Your McNugget is aid from Great Britain.. [ takes it to other customer, then gibbles it down ] ..intercepted by warlords! [ grabs someone's Filet-o-Fish ] This man's Filet-o-Fish over here is relief from Italy.. [ pops it in his mouth ] ..warlords! And you can send all the food you want.. [ grabs different items ] ..a McDLT, hot apple pie.. it's just gonna end up with.. [ puts it all in his mouth ] ..the warlords! Now, with a broad-based international military force, we can make sure that the McRib sandwich.. [ grabs one and places it on someone's tray ] ..gets to the people who need it. [ picks it up and gobbles it anyway ] Can I get a Coke?
