t was a marked change in tone for Gates, 58, who in the days following his arrest gathered up his legal team and said he was contemplating a lawsuit. He even vowed to make a documentary on his arrest to tie into a larger project about racial profiling.

He stirred the feces and now it’s time to move on?

Release the audio of him the officer recorded.
Let’s hear what got him handcuffed. I would bet he wasn’t a mild mannered professor.

The race pimp got EXACTLY what he wanted:
1. He’s a hero to millions of ignorant sheeple.
2. He’s got the backing of Obammy.
3. He’s free to turn this into the golden goose.

Obama is polling terribly on this, Rahm called Gates and read him the riot act, he promised to shovel some Stimulus money to Gates somehow as ‘reparations’ for this inconvenience, and that’s the end of it.
That’s how I envision what led to Gates making his plea to “move on” from this.

Yeah, I'll bet it's time to move on. The longer this stuff lingers the worse it smells. soon the media may actually begin to ask some difficult questions, like who was that second guy that vanished into the mists? And how come "Doctor" Gates doesn't seem to have ever finished a dissertation anywhere?

Plase, Officer Crowley. . .do not have a beer with this con Marxist! Not in the White House; not anywhere. . .

Regarding Henry Gates' prowess as a "scholar", here is an excerpt from a column by Mark Steyn from yesterday:
I confess I've been wary of taking Henry Louis Gates at his word ever since, almost two decades back, the literary scholar compared the lyrics of the rap group 2 Live Crew to those of the Bard of Avon. "It's like Shakespeare's 'My love is like a red, red rose,'" he declared, authoritatively, to a court in Fort Lauderdale.
As it happens, "My luv's like a red, red rose" was written by Robbie Burns, a couple of centuries after Shakespeare. Oh, well. 16th century English playwright, 18th century Scottish poet: What's the diff?

Now that he's discovered it's not so easy to trash Crowley's reputation he wants to move one? Like hell . . . Maybe if he issues Crowley a full apology, not before. This crap will only stop when someone--and I hope it's Crowley--makes it stop. I imagine Crowley wishes it was over and done with, but he must pursue this until he gets that apology--or a hefty judgment.

"in the end, this is not about me at all."The poor soul is entrapped in a seductive net. He is praised and revered by his fellow loonies for projecting his own ethical failings on to others. How difficult it would be to start owning up now.

Uh huh.
Now I REALLY want to hear those tapes.

Gates said. "I am pleased that (Obama) he, too, is eager to use my experience as a teaching moment.......... Gag me with a spoon..........
Just what did Obama teach us??? How to step in it and look like an ass without trying? The Chris Rock "How not to get your ass kicked by the police"
I wonder if he understand just how condescending and arrogant that quote sounds to your average American.

“in the end, this is not about me at all.”
I wonder what it’s like to go around thinking everything that happens to you is a symbol for some deeper societal problem, instead of a random event in a not-so-orderly world.
