I agree with all of your reasons for opposing Obama. I find him offensive.
However, with all due respect, here’s what the Constitution says in regard to impeachment:
“The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”
There may, indeed, surface instances in which Obama’s actions warrant impeachment. Until then, we need to respect the Constitution, stop the idle talk, and get to work flipping Congress next year.
...get to work flipping Congress next year...
Yes - exactly - move it to majority conservative and stop this mad man in his tracks! It’s the lesser to moving towards civil war or public mayhem.
>>shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.<<
So you think that the big $$$$$ from Unions to him and the payback in the ownership of GM is not bribery?
I do.
“Until then, we need to respect the Constitution, stop the idle talk, and get to work flipping Congress next year.”
Such a recommendation may be prudent in a normal setting.
We are today in a setting with a scam President who has played a shell game with us (that is accurate, whether or not he is qualified) and who with the Dem-socialist Congress is sharply turning left.
This is no time to be calm and patient and focus on a future event.
The future is right now.
Respect the Constitution? That is exactly what this is all about, and starting yesterday. And, we are entirely capable of multi-tasking the effort.
