It was just milk and cookies—so sweet-at bedtime. After which the boys (someone else’s) and I slept together. All perfectly normal and—so sweet.

The parents who lent the pedophile Jackson their sons ought to be arrested for child abuse. But, like Ted Kennedy and Kopechne, demrats and their friends get passes.

While I’m not about to make excuses for Jacko, this entire sordid spectacle makes one wonder just what exactly ol’ Joe Jackson did to his son, there was reportedly a great deal of abusive behavior, and the photos of Joe Jackson in the wake of his son’s death (taken in the presence of Revvum Jesse Jackson) showed not a man mourning the death of his son, but some Hollywood wannabe celebrity laughing, grinning, pointing at the photogs, it was simply *disturbing*.

AND in all fairness, it should be mentioned that there is a much more honorable 'Jacko', aka Mark Jackson of ENERGIZER fame:

MJ didn’t desire black children. Maybe that’s why he gets a pass from the folks.

Those two “sons” of his both have such sad sad eyes- what they must have seen and lived through.

It is a shame that with all the Jackson family talent, the only thing that came out of it was essentially negative. To wit: A pedophile who couldn’t decide whether he wanted to be male or female or back or white.

The family had the potential to do so much for the black community, but chose dysfuntionality. Moreover, the media simply pretends that none of the pedophilia ever happened. Afterall, it’s perfectly normal for a grown man to share his bed with other people’s children. And what does it say about the families that loaned him their children? IMHO, these people simply represent the perversion of American society as a whole. It’s now perfectly OK for the president of the US to get a BJ in the Oval Office by someone who is not his wife—and who was subordinate to him. That used to draw howls from the feminist left, but with Clintoon it was perfectly OK.

Oh, and what all demrat moms who took their young daughters to Monica Lewinski book signings? But its all about celebrity. Once, dubbed one, anything goes.

Gee....seems once again, News of the World fails to mention the fact that the book was not published in the U.S. because Jackson won a libel suit against the author. Victor Gutierrez was ordered to pay $2.7 million dollars to Michael Jackson for damages.

Lies, Lies, Lies.

Also, Chandler family was paid, against MJ’s wishes, by MJ’s insurance company. MJ did NOT pay off the family. In fact, the family took the money and ran...choosing NOT to file criminal charges against MJ.

Yeah right — I had a broken windshield last week, so I made an insurance claim but the insurance company insisted on buying me a new car of the same model instead of replacing the windshield.

So I took the new car and drove off, and decided not to file a claim. After all, why should I? I had a new car.

Yeah, exactly right....

From March 22, 2005 court motion filed (in the Arviso case) and titled, “Mr. Jackson’s Memorandum in Support of Objection to Subpoena to Larry Feldman for Settlement Documents”: (relevant section)

C. The 1993 Civil Settlement was Made by Mr. Jackson’s Insurance Company and was Not Within Mr. Jackson’s Control.

The plaintiff seeks to introduce evidence of the civil settlement of the 1993 lawsuit through the testimony of Larry Feldman, attorney for the current complaining family and attorney for the plaintiff in the 1993 matter. The settlement agreement was for global claims of negligence and the lawsuit was defended by Mr. Jackson’s insurance carrier. The insurance carrier negotiated and paid the settlement, over the protests of Mr. Jackson and his personal legal counsel.

It is general practice for an insurer to be entitled to control settlement negotiations and the insured is precluded from any interference. Shapero v. Allstate Ins. Co., 114 Cal. App.3d 433, 438 (1971); Ivy v. Pacific Automobile Ins. Co., 156 Cal. App.2d 652, 660 (1958)(the insured is precluded from interfering with settlement procedures). Under the majority of contracts for liability insurance, the absolute control of the defense of the matter is turned over to the insurance company and the insured is excluded from any interference in any negotiation for settlement or other legal proceedings (emphasis added). Merritt v. Reserve Ins. Co., 34 Cal. App.3d 858, 870 (1973). An insurance carrier has the right to settle claims covered by insurance when it decides settlement is expedient and the insured may not interfere with nor prevent such settlements. 44 Am. Jur. 2d, Insurance, sec. 1392, at 326-27 (rev. ed 2002)

In Brown v. Guarantee Ins. Co., 155 Cal. App. 2d 679, 685 (1957), the court stated:

“It is generally understood that these are rights and privileges which it is necessary for the insurer to have in order to justify or enable it to assume obligations which it does in the contract of insurance. So long as recovery does not exceed the limits of the insurance, the question of whether the claim be compromised or settled, or the matter in which it shall be defended, is a matter of no concern to the insured.”

The insurer’s right to control the defense of any action against the insured includes the right to negotiate settlement, and to otherwise conduct defense of the action. The consent of the insured is usually superfluous. “Liability policies usually specifically prohibit the insured from settling or negotiating for a settlement or interfering in any manner with the defense except upon request of the insurer unless the insurer is in breach of contract. By accepting a liability insurance policy, the insured is bound by these terms.” (Croskey, et. al, Cal. Practice Guide: Insurance Litigation 3, supra, section 12:207, p. 12B-2.) “For this reason, it is common practice for insurance counsel and an adjuster to handle the negotiation of insurance funded settlements with out the superfluous involvement of a fully protected insured.” Fiege v. Cooke, __ Cal. App. 4th __ (2004).

It is unfair for an insurance company’s settlement to be now held against Mr. Jackson or for the Settlement Agreement to be admitted as evidence of Mr. Jackson’s prior conduct or guilt. Mr. Jackson could not control nor interfere with his insurance carrier’s demand to settle the dispute. No admission against interest nor acknowledgment of criminality can be inferred regarding Mr. Jackson from the act of the insurance carrier in the settling the litigation.”

Again, Chandler’s took the money and ran. They could have filed criminal charges against MJ and CHOSE NOT TO.

Insurance companies don't settle for 20 million dollars without cause. Both parties signed a confidentiality agreement, as part of the terms of the settlement.

http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/mjdec1.html

After TSG first published the below document on February 6, 2003, Jackson issued a statement noting that he "has respected the obligation of confidentiality imposed on all the parties to the prior proceedings, yet someone has chosen to violate that confidentiality" and use the boy's statements to "further sully" the star's character. He added that, "it should be remembered that, at the time, the confidentiality obligation was a mutual one, designed as much to protect" the teenage boy as the singer himself.
