PORT ALLEN, LA (WAFB) - A ten-year-old boy left home alone with his sister used his mother's gun to shoot an intruder in the face, police said.
Late Tuesday, West Baton Rouge Parish sheriff's deputies received a call to a Port Allen apartment complex after several shots rang out from inside one of the apartments. "You are out here trying to work and for someone to come and do that and invade your home is very hard," the children's mother said. She asked to not be identified.

Judge SotoLiar would see this 10 year old spend the rest of his adult life in jail if she were given the chance.

It is a happy story good guy won,bad guy got shot in the lip and goes back to jail again..
Pin a medal on the kid. He deserves it for probably saving his sister from violation and both of them from perhaps something worse.

Quick thinking kid. The story isn’t too clear, maybe because the mother asked not to be identified, but it sounds as if she knew the perps.
I wonder if the single mother and two kids were black, too. In any case, the boy has my admiration for protecting himself and his younger sister from a very dangerous threat. If, as the story seems to suggest, these were neighbors, then they probably would have murdered both kids to keep from being ID’d by them.

They live in a bad part of town,and yes most likely it was a black on black crime..
The mother is trying to preserve her identity for fear of reprisals..
She will be classified as a snitch,she will have to move otherwise certain people will make her life hell.
Too bad he didn’t dispose of the perps, but he’s only 10 so I won’t rant about he ought to be practicing more to improve his gun control. At least he left one of the perps with a striking new lip job, such that the perp will quickly become known in prison as the guy who tried to rob a 10 year old kid and his little sister, and got his lip blown off by the 10 year old.
That’s what I figured.

He is unaware that the DEMs say he doesn’t have the right to self defense.
He and his sister ,really should have been killed instead.
It would have lowered the carbon footprint and left this Obama supporter free.
When the kids grow up they will always vote for the Dems..
