Speaking of judicial empathy, where was the empathy for the helpless Terri Schiavo as she was dehydrated to death by judicial order, without even the simple kindness of allowing the grieving parents to wet her blistering lips as she was being tortured to death?

Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.

As you well know leftists have empathy for slavery and death and detest freedom and life.

They get satisfaction when they have power over your life, whether it be what light bulb you use or what car you drive.

But even more so at the end of the day they want to control who lives or dies.

To the LEFT:
If a baby is aborted...good thing.

If a defenseless Terry dies...good thing.

If a murderer is paroled in your neighborhood...good thing.

If you have freedom....bad thing.

Political prisoners were received worse sentences than murderers in the Soviet/Nazi system.

I get the feeling it will be the same here in what is becoming the USSA

from Merriam-Webster

empathy:

1: the imaginative projection of a subjective state into an object so that the object appears to be infused with it

2: the action of understanding, being aware of, being sensitive to, and vicariously experiencing the feelings, thoughts, and experience of another of either the past or present without having the feelings, thoughts, and experience fully communicated in an objectively explicit manner ; also : the capacity for this

If the criteria for the next Justice is empathy, let us ask:

“What of the dying, or fighting to survive? What of the yet unborn?

What is your understanding, awareness, sensitivity and experiencing the feelings of the feelings, thoughts, and experience of the dying, fighting to survive, or yet unborn without having the feelings, thoughts, and experience fully communicated in an objectively explicit manner?

In short, Ms. Sotomayor, what jurisdiction does the Federal Government have regarding the rights and actions of the citizens of the United States regarding their individual sovereignty to their Natural Life and God given Rights?

p.s. “JimThom”: Congrats on being “second worstest”. I hope we’ll get a few more members. Oops, forgot, nobody but those of us who give a crap even know who “what’s his name” is anyhow.

We (you and I) and Obama, have very different definitions of “empathy.”
