“Im almost positive that a few progressives were let loose here to taint this forum.”
It’s been happening since the very beginning.
Even before the Internet, it happened on BBSs like Town Hall.
I had a comment removed once, because I said that my ex-husband beat the excrement out of me (and I starred out part of the word!), as I didn’t realize that the thread was in the religion forum. I also got a warning for doing so.
I think we're all going to have to be on the lookout for inappropriate posts—whether made by real racists, or by socialist trolls trying to make us look bad.
I saw the responses and was a little surprised. Many of them, however, said she’s an 11 year old kid and that’s what they are wearing these days. For the few really mean ones, there were many more saying “don’t mess with the kids”.
Sounds like this advice applies to everyone BUT the "author".
“It gets worse, though. Chris Parry, it appears, has advocated on his Daily Kos blog any number of egregious offenses, among them: posting hate speech on sites like Free Republic and blaming it on conservatives. Parry posted under the name “hollywoodoz” on Daily Kos, where his signature was “Fool me once, I’ll punch you in the fucking head.” Parry outed himself as hollywoodoz here, where he discloses the company he helped start. In essence: Parry, the journalist, found his story right where he’d been circling it for a very long time, and reported it as news. Sigh. “
Hmmm, this dumba&& admits that this was an agenda by Chris Parry and yet still calls Free Republic racist, etc...
No due process of law needed.
Can you provide a link or quote? All that was linked from the original thread was a stupid anagram.
It was a thread right after Obama talked about getting rid of nukes and Malia is walking around with a peace sign tshirt.
I saw that thread and I saw lots of comments on “Marketing” their daughters but I did not see anything about their kids being trash or anything like that.
I did, as well. We need to be more alert about these comments and report every one of them. This is NOT a racist forum.
Why did you post it? Do we want them posting about what Bristol wears?
There probably should be a moratorium on any kind of “Caption This” posting of pics of any of the Obama females.
That way no lurker/troll could post his hate-speech crap on it. However, that might not stop them from registering and posting their OWN threads and having their weasel-friends, newbie trolls all, from adding the kind of bigoted hate-speech they’re eager to report.
The only solution is to carefully screen all new users, and that might prove impossible.
You can be sure , though, that since FR has become a clearinghouse for Tea Party activity and thelike, that they are not giving up on us: there will be more attacks , and probably even clumsier ones that this one. THEY MUST BE EXPOSED FOR WHAT THEY ARE.
Shame that liberal IDIOTS like Parry are too LAZY to find news.. they have to Make up news .. so DU and KOokS are taking over the PRESS ...
We’re going to have to fight these scum on their terms.. the “WE’RE ABOVE such things” isn’t going to work. They need to be dug up, and thrown about and Publicly SMACKED DOWN. This IS WAR.. those who don’t want to admit it.. I hope your chains are LIGHT.
As to the appropriateness of scorning the President's kids, in my opinion, it is not appropriate.
Foster Kramer = disgraced FReeper “Inspector Harry Callahan”???
“Were going to have to fight these scum on their terms.. the WERE ABOVE such things isnt going to work.”
About as well as it did for Juan Mccain and the “Scared Talk Express”...
You know the truth about the Obama White House is getting out when the libs go into attack mode.
The comments in the article are mild compared to what the mainstream media dumped on Sarah Palin’s family.
And the people in that picture do look sleazy. They called Palin slutty for dressing professionally.
But is MUCH easier to disavow the posts of newbs and kitty zot them.
I like your idea of a moratorium on Obama women caption this.
