The Obama administration jumped quickly into the fray over the removal and expulsion of president Manuel Zelaya from Honduras, calling the action a coup and demanding his reinstatement. Fellow Democrats in Congress followed suit, but The Hill reports that they may be changing their minds. Suddenly, they have begun acknowledging the crimes Zelaya committed and stopped calling for his return to office:
Rep. Eliot Engel (D-N.Y.), chairman of a key House subcommittee with jurisdiction over Honduras, roundly criticized both factions at a Friday hearing. But he also stopped short of calling for Zelayas immediate reinstatement, which hed done in previous statements.

Almost two weeks ago Thaddeus McCotter sent a letter to the white house asking about who knew what about Zelaya’s drug ties. The media apparently missed that one and I’m guessing McCotter didn’t get an answer.

Honduras needs to give Obama a face saving way out of this, and he will gladly take it. Perhaps if there is evidence of drug money, which they claim there is, they can publish the evidence, and Obama can be shocked, shocked, that he good buddy was doing something wrong, and they’ll drop the whole thing.

Can I say “dangerous Democrat Administration amateurs.”
Yes I can.

How can they back away from him? He violated his nation’s constitution. His actions required him to be removed from office. He was removed from office.
How can you not defend him in the face of this? /s

While the Hondurans made a big mistake in forcibly exiling Zelaya, they had ample reason to arrest him and try him for several violations of their constitution. Its entirely possible to criticize the manner of Zelayas removal while still recognizing the necessity of protecting the nation from a dictatorship in its nascent stages.Actually it wasn't a big mistake and there isn't much ground to stand on to criticize Zelaya's exile. He lost his citizenship by violationg Article 42 paragraph 5.
ARTICLE 42 .- The quality of citizen is lost:
1. 1. Por prestar servicios en tiempo de guerra a enemigos de Honduras o de sus aliados; For service in wartime enemies of Honduras or its allies;
2. 2. Por prestar ayuda en contra del Estado de Honduras, a un extranjero oa un gobierno extranjero en cualquier reclamación diplomática o ante un tribunal internacional; For assistance with the State of Honduras, an alien or a foreign government in any diplomatic claim or before an international tribunal;
3. 3. Por desempeñar en el país, sin licencia del Congreso Nacional, empleo de nación extranjera, del ramo militar o de carácter político; To play in the country, without license from the National Congress, employment of foreign nation, or military branch of a political nature;
4. 4. Por coartar la libertad de sufragio, adulterar documentos electorales o emplear medios fraudulentos para burlar la voluntad popular; For the freedom to vote, electoral documents adulterate or use fraudulent means to circumvent the popular will;
5. 5. Por incitar, promover o apoyar el continuismo o la reelección del Presidente de la República; y, Incite, encourage or support the continuity or re-election of President of the Republic, and
6. 6. Por residir los hondureños naturalizados, por más de dos años consecutivos, en el extranjero sin previa autorización del Poder Ejecutivo. Naturalized Honduran resident for more than two consecutive years abroad without prior approval of the Executive.
En los casos a que se refieren los numerales 1) y 2), la declaración de la pérdida de la ciudadanía la hará el Congreso Nacional mediante expediente circunstanciado que se forme al efecto. In the cases referred to in paragraphs 1) and 2) the declaration of loss of citizenship will file the National Congress through circumstances that formed for the purpose. For the cases of paragraphs 3) and 6) That the statement made by the Executive Government Agreement, and for the cases of subparagraphs 4) and 5) also by governmental agreement, after the sentence handed down by courts.

He is not incompetent. He IS a TRAITOR! This is an intentional destruction of the nation.That would seem to be absolutely true since the "U.S." had been involved for weeks or months prior to June 28th.
0bama was helping Chavez orchestrate this attempted takeover by Zelaya.
The U.S. State Dept has basically announced that they are an organ of international communism.

He is not a Natural Born U.S. Citizen, but he is a Natural Born Commie.
There is a certain irony to that, but I believe it true.
Commies in his life:
His Mother
His Father
His Mentor- Frank Marshall Davis
Saul Alinski- Commie teacher
His Pastor Wright- Black Liberation Theology (Marxism in religious wrapper)
Shall I go on?

What the Dems couldn't comprehend was the fact that virtually everything the Honduran Legislature, Attorney General, Supreme Court and Army did was specifically authorized by the “rule book” (read: Constitution). That is a total anathema to liberals who feel that after the stadium empties, the lights are turned off, and the scoreboard shows a result they don't like, their solution is to write a new rule book which would guarantee the outcome they wanted. This is essentially the tactic they tried after the 2000 election in Florida went against them. Kathleen Harris merely read the regulation in place and enforced it. For that she has been vilified in the same manner the libs are doing to Sarah Palin today.

That renowned socialist beekeeper, Hugo Chavez, had a bit of a problem trying to herd his ‘Swarm Of Bees’. Better luck next time, Hugo. You fricken’ commie asshat.

You can add his maternal grandfather and quite possibly grandmother to that list.
You just don’t run into too many third generation red diaper babies in the United States, unless they have a foundation in the family name.

AND, if Washington can be patient, the people in Honduras WILL elect a candidate in November to be the President, according to law and constitution.

A colossal foreign policy blunder by 0bama, yet the MSM won’t go near it.
