Possibly a very important policy change quietly emerged in the daily schedule of Vice President Joe Biden today.

Loyal Ticket readers know that as a patriotic duty we monitor the long-time senator's schedule with a close eye for detail because, after all, this man is only a heartbeat away from having to give a toast at a G8 summit. We've especially noted Biden's innumerable "private meetings" that are closed to the press because, well, they're private.

And we've wondered aloud how this Democratic VP's private meetings with unnamed people on unnamed subjects differs from the private meetings with unnamed people that his evil predecessor had that got so many Democratic senators and representatives worried about nefarious secrets.

I don’t care if Biden has closed meetings. Joe is about as important in politics today as a clerk in a mailroom, or a copy boy in a news room. He just runs around picking up and delivering messages. And his “meetings” are probably as significant as those that would be had standing beside a water cooler in an office. He is probably discussing and deciding what brand of coffee to be used for breakfast gatherings at the WH. Real important stuff, ya know.

Joe Biden serves a very important purpose in the Obama administration. He almost makes Barry look good in comparison.

I say “almost” because I’d rather have a village idiot in the White House than a Communist-Muslim-Kenyan-BlackPanther. But not everyone has caught on to what Barry is yet.

The left wing press would never criticize Obama like this. But they regularly publicize Joe’s gaffes and oddities—I presume on Obama’s orders, to make him look better.
