Congressman Alec Baldwin?

Baldwin: I have sometimes thought I could move to New Jersey or Connecticut and run. I'd love to run against Joe Lieberman. I have no use for him. But it's all fantasy. I'm a carry-me-out-in-a-box New Yorker. Here, anything can happen. Who thought Eliot Spitzer would go down the way he did? Senator Hillary Clinton left to serve as secretary of state. Two of the biggest forces gone. Maybe Andrew Cuomo will run for one of their old seats. How much longer will Chuck Schumer stay as senator? After 2013 Bloomberg will be gone. What happens then?

Why would he want to do that? It would take too much time away from beating up his girlfriends and screaming at his kids.

That part of Spitzer’s adventures was left out of the indictment.

I’d say that I fear for the future of my state but I don’t. I know exactly what’s coming for it’s future. In a few years, we will be where California is now. Legacy of the welfare state.
Baldwin can’t make it bad. He can only make it worse.
To: theruleshavechanged
is he still in the country? I thought for sure he was going to move to canada if GWB was elected president . . .

Congressman Alec Baldwin? I thought the members of Congress are already pretty stupid, but with smart-Alec Baldwin the average IQ drops another 50 points.
Trot out the tape of him screaming at his daughter over the phone...

Given that irony and satire are status quo in politics now, I fully expect Baldwin to elected and head a committee on family matters.
To: Puppage
Bloomberg will be gone after another term?? How does he know. Bloomberg just might want to stay on the job for life. After all, they just repealed the 2 term limit on a whim, even after the people voted for it. Is there any limit on the NYC mayor now? Even if there is, he could just seek to have that overruled again.

I’ve enjoyed a number of his performances. When the guy starts talking politics, it’s tantamount to listening to marbles ricocheting around in his head. You just have to wonder how many of them are breaking.

Yes, it was Hyde. Mental notes aren’t worth the paper they’re printed on...
Again, where were the Secret Service agents? Why weren’t they hauling off Alec Baldwin for openly threatening a member of congress? Now, all you have to do is say “I don’t like Obama” and...hey, who’s that in the black van pulling into the driveway??
