The motorcycle driver, 64-year-old George Hall, followed Snyder into the hospital's parking lot and confronted him

It took 64 years for him meet someone that doesn't put up with his anger problem. I'll bet it's resolved now.

Never pick a fight with an old man. He’s not willing to take a beating, so he’ll probably just kill you.

George Hall is one class act.

Only surprise here is that nobody has blown the idiot away long before now, as I highly doubt this was his impulsive outburst.

He probably goes to the nursing home and kicks old ladies for training.

My bad. I thought they briefly jailed the eighty-three year old and released him with no charges filed.

I think he needs to get a bigger caliber gun. And next time, don’t open your car door. Just crack your window and let him have it because you might be seeing him again, unfortunately.

Detectives say 83-year-old Nathan Snyder was driving to Palms of Pasadena Hospital when he reportedly cut off a motorcycle as he was driving along Pasadena Avenue.

It,s about time for mandatory driver testing maybe it should start at age 53.

This brute got what he deserved for trying to brutalize an old man, even if the geezer did cut him off. A larger cabliber might be better, but if he can’t handle a larger caliber (might be a q-tip) then a quicker followup shot would work.

In Florida, it is legal to carry a loaded handgun within reach in your own car for “legitimate self-defense.” You do not even need one of the famous Florida concealed-carry permits for that! In many other states, that is not legally possible, and the motorcyclist might well have killed the older man.

My personal feeling is that one should not get angry while driving. On the other hand, there are lots of situations where things happen which are bound to cause resentment. A problem is that there is not way to apologize for an inadvertent discourtesy on the road. If you bump into someone on a crowded street, you can say “Sorry!”, and usually everyone understands. There is no similar signal available in a car. If you honk the horn, it always sounds annoying, unpleasant, or even aggressive.

Divers are often actually rather polite if they have a chance: they may yield to someone who is clearly in a jamb, or who has been waiting a long time, or has an awkward trailer which may require extra room: maybe not in New York, but in most other places.

But there is no way simply to say, “Gosh, I really am sorry to have cut you off.” If you could communicate that, an overwhelming number of people (I suspect) would give you a break, and would even appreciate the apology.

There is a chance that he did see the motorcyclist, didn’t give a crap, cut him off anyway and nearly killed the guy. In which case he did need to get the crap kicked out of him in spite of his age.
