Hagerstown Morning Herald ^ | July 5 2009 | Kate Alexander

With Gov. Ed Rendell’s proposed budget stalemated in the Pennsylvania General Assembly, 600 unhappy taxpayers rallied in Chambersburg’s center square Saturday to declare their independence from looming tax increases.

Likening their protest to that of a group of Boston patriots in 1776, Franklin County, Pa., joined in the nationwide TEA (Taxed Enough Already) Party movement against taxation and government spending.

600 in a sleepy little PA town like Chambersburg. I was there and it was rockin'! Also reported in the (moonbat)Chambersburg newspaper, but that source is blocked.

Somehow all these July 4th tea parties must be condensed into a video and distributed throughout the Internet. The media hid these protests.

That comment is right on. I attended a tea party in Middletown, NJ yesterday. There were about 150 people there. My local paper, The Asbury Park Press, had a short story about it this morning. The main point of their story was that despite the tea party protests across the country, obama's approval rating remains at 62 percent. BARF

Odd how Obama supposedly has 62% (fake) approval while Corzine’s is what 20 to 30% if he is lucky.

The 62% approval rate is when they sample 60% Democrats 25% Indep and 15% Repubs.
