Palin 2012: The Crystal Ball
race 4 2012 ^ | July 3, 2009 | Alex Knepper

Posted on 07/03/2009 9:37:28 PM PDT by Al B.

Palin 2012. Hypothetical narrative.

If this is what she runs on — and does it well — then watch the hell out:

I’m Sarah Palin, and I’m running to be Citizen-In-Chief.

I entered politics to change something. I ran to serve my state, the great state of Alaska, and then for the vice-presidency because I care about this country.

I saw first-hand the viciousness and pettiness that have made Americans fed up with politicians, politics as usual, and the destructive personal attacks that also go on far too often. Those sorts of things that public service should never be about.

I thought I could serve my country best by being removed from that environment.

I don’t need a title to bring to Washington the change America really needs: a dose of humility in a federal government that has completely lost touch with its citizens.

So I come to you today as an Alaskan, as a parent of a soldier, and as a mother of five. I am running not as a member of the elite, of the establishment — but of the everyday. I ask to serve you as president because I have shared your experiences and I understand your disgust with the system. What we need today is not a ruler, but a servant. A servant of the people. A servant of America.

I will govern as first among equals, not as your ruler. Not as the Queen of Washington, giving orders that descend from on high. I know firsthand how that culture of selfishness and personal destruction in Washington harms lives. I ask for your support because I share your disgust with the system. And if you will fight with me, if you will put that trust in me to do that — then you can trust me, also, to change it.

Wish there were more of us.

“Sarah Palin just held a news conference and NOBODY came.”

“NOBODY” was invited. She’s calling the shots and playing this game in her court, not the MSM. Just another reason why the liberals abhor her. Gov. Palin is charming, unpredictable, sharp, classy, upstanding, devoted to the Lord, family, and the true conservative way.

That is why conservatives adore her, and liberals hate her.

May the Lord continue to bless and keep the Palin family.

Get yourself a reality check. And I’m not going to tell you why there wasn’t a mass crowd there. I’d rather you post this crapola so you CONTINUE to look like the most uninformed poster. Trashing Sarah blinds you.

It’s relatable charisma. Clinton had charisma too, but it came from a fake charm. Palin is genuine.

Oh man term limits. Let me know if you find a good group that’s pushing for that. I’m in.

We need it BAD!

I've got a Benjamin that says she will not even get the nomination. Game?

I’ve never heard a decent argument against term limits. Doesn’t it seem as if most of the scandals we see are from multi-term officials, or is that just a bad perception?

I don’t think Obama hates himself that much.

If a cancer cell had consciousness do you think that it knows it will eventually destroy itself or hates itself?? The person I heard this analogy from also said "cancer cells are stupid cells" ...for all the talk about how Obama is so brilliant I just have never seen that. He is an empty suit with a teleprompter...I always feel like the kid in "The Emperor's New Clothes" as I look around wonder why all the applause....this guy is a sham....

Of course he lied! How else was a nobody with no experience and a walk-in closet full of dubious dealings going to get elected?

“People still believe that Bush stole the election, for Pete’s sake.”

Yes, and people still see Elvis, Jim Morrison, and Mother Teresa’s face on a potato.

You may want to reevaluate that measuring stick you’re using.

I’m still kinda waiting for some proof that this guy is some sort of genius. I think I’m waiting in vain on that one.

A cancer cell doesn’t have “intentions” though. I don’t think it says to itself that it’s going to destroy it’s host”. It just does what it does mindlessly. Democrats don’t really have that excuse. Okay, most of them don’t. :)

Yeah no problem. we’ll have JR hold the booty ‘til it’s over.

But really my point was to throw out an empty bromide to match yours.

Sarah may not run, if she does she may lose. I could for for the winner either way as long as it’s not slick mitt.

What are your thoughts?

Actually, all of those examples help my argument. Truth isn’t always self-evident.

Unconventional Sarah - Following The Lord and not the world’s way of doing things! We are blessed to have her - she’s truly a role model.
