Nothing wrong with Palin quitting before her term was over to concentrate on 2012. Zero quit as senator right after he was elected to run for president.
Oh, wait. He didn’t actually quit. He showed up for a dozen or so votes, but I guess he did still collect his full senatorial salary while campaigning full-time for pres.
Shuster at MSNBC claims this means she’s done. I imagine all 47 people who watch MSNBC will probably agree.

But considering what happened with Sanford, I can’t help but think Obama got her to and is driving the last conservative voice out of power.

I think in Palin’s case, it’s a bit early to tell exactly what she’s thinking about, when doing this. There may be something else prompting her to do this, if trouble is coming up. I don’t know. Or, it could be her setting up for a national run, too. But, I can’t say that, as I really don’t know.
But, what I have said, before is that she would not do a national run, because her governor duties would interfere with that. But, now, I can’t say that, so, if there is no other problem, then she would be open for that...
She has accomplished a lot. The lefties are scared of her and they will chew on her just like they did Bush. They would any political candidate.
The one that needs to go is Obama.
It is malicious gossip and a load of crap. If you actually listen to what she said, there is NOTHING whatsoever to substantiate the crap sandwich you fixed up for Free Republic. It is troll-like behavior, particularly from someone who joined the day before the election. NOTHING, I repeat, N O T H I N G equates her with Sanford. So stop the trash talk, and IF you are really a conservative, support a real lady who wants to help turn this ship of state back towards its founding shores.

She will now be free to travel the country and speak to all comers....she cannot be accused of ignoring her job as govenor, which is totally fine for democrats but unacceptable to people with integrity....

Fox News is phone interviewing some nobody from an Alaskan newspaper that said it was just a “me me me” conceited speech and she’s resigning because she isn’t “having any fun”. Fair and balanced!
