A long time age I read an article in the paper regard Somali refugees. They had a large number in Atlanta and the article was regarding how hard it was for them to assimilate because of the the cultural differences, lack of any education and language barriers. I distinctly remember that there were other countries in Africa that were willing to take them but our state department would not hear of it.

This sounds like it is related to the tribal politics of Somalia rather than a cell planning attacks in the US. They have been recruiting young men to go back to Somalia and fight in the tribal militias.
As long as they stay in Somalia, it isn’t that bad. Fewer angry cab drivers in the US.
