Rather than lapse into the stupidity of name calling

First of all, I didn't call you any names, you should go back and read my post to you. It appears the racism thing got under your skin

Nothing further

I’m the “whiteboy”, Dude and I say that tongue in cheek. If you knew me, you would know that I have no problem with other races. Take my wife, for example. She is not a “whitegirl” and we’ve been together over 20 years. To be called racist because of criticism of Israel is absurd. No race is being targeted here. LV Ron, you didn’t call me any names but there are others who are claiming that I’m racist. I’d like to know how that term applies to being critical of the policies a country, not its people. I choose Israel because that evokes the most emotional response and I’m curious as to how the conservative community will react. I’ve gotten my responses, albeit, very predictable. That’s why I love this forum. It lets me know what people who are quite different from me are thinking. I’m always open to differing points-of-view and willing to reassess mine but I do not walk on egg shells regarding any country or people. I state what I feel. Be well.

I’m multi-tasking. Enough of this subject, at least for me. I only come here periodically as I find FR to be a good indication of what folks who are a bit more conservative than I have to say. I generally respect all opinions. I should really take off on rants about Obama, Wall St. (where I worked for 27 years in tech support), the banking community and all of the other far more serious troublemakers that pollute our society but I would probably just get a lot of heads nodding in agreement. I have liberal and conservative points-of-view depending upon the topic. And I love to read anything Ron Paul has to say, for example. I guess I’m more of a libertarian. Have a good day.

And Israel certainly does not have America’s interests at heart

So why should we have Israel’s interests at heart?

The US doesn’t need to have Israels interests at heart to know it has a better ally in Israel than it does any other country in the ME.

An ally which does this

Seeing how our military, CIA and most people in government not named Bill Kristol, have minimal trust in the Israeli government, I am often confused why we on the right do.

I'm not Israel's biggest fan. I'm fully aware of the USS Liberty and other incidents, and of technology issues like the Lavi (now reincarnated as PLAAF fighter bomber) and the Phalcon AWACS they tried to sell to the PRC, but they're still a better friend than Saudi Arabia, home to the doctrine that created Al Qaeda, and to 17 of the 19 Sept. 11 hijackers, or any other ME nation.

Why are we even bringing the SA government into this discussion?

The kings and princes of that nation are evil, hypocritical scum suckers that should be tossed off the plank.

There is no reason for George W Bush to french kiss them or President Obama to bow to them

In the same way I am not gonna go out of my way for our country to 100 percent back Israel, when at best its neutral to our interests
