The Obama administration worked in recent days to prevent President Manuel Zelaya's ouster, said a senior U.S. official. The State Department, in particular, communicated to Honduran officials on the ground that President Barack Obama wouldn't support any nondemocratic transfer of power in the Central American country.
"We had some indication that a move against Mr. Zelaya was afoot," said a U.S. official briefed on the diplomacy. "We made it clear it was something we didn't support."

why should an obama administration respect the Honduran Constitution when it has trampled the US Constitution.
why are they meddling in Honduras and taking a “let’s see how it plays out” for Iran?
Barack Obama is standing athwart History, desperately yelling ,”STOP!!!”. Hopefully,History will not listen.
Ohhhh! Say it ain't so! "O" said we won't meddle in the affairs of other countries.

I wish our military had the guts to remove this fraud and usurper, as well as a bunch of other "democrat" traitors.

So Hussein will support another power-drunk, Hitler wanna-be, but not people interested in democracy and freedom. Well ain’t that a surprise! Somehow I don’t think this story will be presented in quite this way on ABC!
COMMUNIST (not YOU, but HIM!)
You’ve put forth questions I’ve wondered about for some time.
There needs to be an agency in our system of “checks and balances” that assures the Constitution is followed and adhered to. Without such and the “lack of standing” of citizens to address issues in the Supreme Court suggests we’re screwed.
This is an outrage, the United States joining various tinhorns in an effort to overthrow the rule of law and place yet another country under the heel of authoritarian “community organizers.”
Is this the Big Zero’s plan for the United States, too, staged and orchestrated “popular” sentiment and the charisma of the dear leader trumping the rule of law? To hell with these traitors, to hell with the media and to hell with Chavez, Castro, and ACORN.

The good news is Honduras is moving back toward Constitutional democracy. The bad new is the United States isn’t...
Even none right-wingers should be able to see that Obama is an ardent socialist, at the very least.
How would the media-left have responded if GWB had used a foreign air force to help him stage his own sham election and give himself a third term last year?
That is exactly what the media-industrial complex and its front man, Obama, are trying to do to the people of Honduras.

I wish the American citizens would wake up and realize it may be up to them and stop expecting anyone else to do it for them. If it hadn’t been for ordinary patriots we would still be under the rule of the Queen. There are ways to change the tide without violence. It just takes millions, not a few thousand. If every voter that voted for Sarah and McPain joined in, it would bring the government to their knees in short order. It would come to a grinding halt. 45 million people is a force to be reckoned with. A few thousand is not.
