'I'm better off dead. I'm done': Michael Jackson's fateful prediction just a week before his death

By IAN HALPERIN

28th June 2009

Genetic condition had ruined his lungs and left him unable to sing He became so skeletal, doctors believed he was anorexic He had nightmares about being murdered – and wanted to die He used swine flu as an excuse to avoid coming to England

He thought he was agreeing to 10 concerts – it was 50 Whatever the final autopsy results reveal, it was greed that killed Michael Jackson.

Had he not been driven – by a cabal of bankers, agents, doctors and advisers – to commit to the gruelling 50 concerts in London’s O2 Arena, I believe he would still be alive today.

During the last weeks and months of his life, Jackson made desperate attempts to prepare for the concert series scheduled for next month – a series that would have earned millions for the singer and his entourage, but which he could never have completed, not mentally, and not physically.

[Pic in URL] Ailing: Michael Jackson may have worn a mask in public to protect his diseased lungs

Michael knew it and his advisers knew it. Anyone who caught even a fleeting glimpse of the frail old man hiding beneath the costumes and cosmetics would have understood that the London tour was madness. For Michael Jackson, it was fatal.

I had more than a glimpse of the real Michael; as an award-winning freelance journalist and film-maker, I spent more than five years inside his ‘camp’.

'I'm Better Off Dead. I'm Done'

Logically, such a conclusion could only be drawn when one knows what being "dead" actually entails.

From a poster on another forum;
“My wife who is a woman of color as many of you know, worked for the Jackson family,Motown Records and was Diana Ross’ personal assistant for years so I know way too much about Michael’s dark side and it was all true and even worse than you can imagine I can assure you. I have a feeling that now that the paychecks have stopped, there will be many, many books written by his former sycophants and all that will be eventually be told. “

I’m just enjoying the idea of saying “I am very glad that Michael Jackson is finally dead. He was scum.”

Some of that doesn’t jive with the autopsy report, well what little of it they talked about.
http://www.myfoxwausau.com/dpp/entertainment/celebrity_news/dpg_michael_jackson_autopsy_healthy_lwf_062709_2617313

(MYFOX NATIONAL) - A source familiar with Michael Jackson’s autopsy at the Los Angeles County Coroner revealed that investigators were surprised that the pop star was healthy.

The source revealed to Fox News that Jackson appeared to be stronger than they expected. There were bruises on his chest, which indicated someone had performed CPR on him, but there was no sign of a heart attack, which is when arteries are blocked, leading to cardiac arrest.

A source told the Associated Press on Friday that Jackson had suffered a heart attack. But the Fox News source said investigators believe that wasn’t the case and that drugs may have indeed played a role in stopping Jackson’s heart and/or lungs.

The Fox News source also mentioned that investigators saw significant scarring on Jackon’s face as this was the first time they saw him without makeup on. His body was being kept in its own private locked crypt at the morgue to prevent any photos from getting leaked.

Didn’t know that Jimi Hendrix was murdered.
http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2009/jun/02/jimi-hendrix

Something is really fishy with MJ’s death.

It may come out that he was murdered ,too . There are a lot of people that stand to gain from his death.

That tour was going to be a disaster.

I know the Jacksons will agressively pursue this for their own personal gain looking for someone to sue. Maybe the truth will be revealed.

He’s dead, Jim.

And Franco is still dead.

Death rate = 1 per person.

And, our wonderful House of Representives had a moment of silence for him. I wonder if they'll do that for OJ when departs?

Interesting. MJ was an adorable little boy - so sad that his life took the turns it did.

MJ should have died years ago, or nation is a safer place for young boys now that he is gone.

You can bet that they’ll do it for Castro. And when Gorbachev goes there will be wailing and the gnashing of teeth on the House floor. And those are the clowns we voted for.

I don’t follow these things closely, but I seem to recall that Anna Nicole Smith made a similar statement a few weeks before her death.

There comes a point when a person is drowning in the cesspool of multiple drug addiction that it just seems easier to let go of the lifejacket and sink beneath the surface.
