Farrah Fawcett, who skyrocketed to fame as one of a trio of impossibly glamorous private eyes on TV's Charlie's Angels, has died after a long battle with cancer. She was 62.
Fawcett died at 9:28 a.m. PST at St. John’s Heath Center in Santa Monica, Calif. She had recently returned to St. John's for treatment of complications from anal cancer, first diagnosed three years ago. Her longtime partner Ryan O'Neal was at her side throughout her final days.
Like so much about Fawcett's life – including her bumpy relationship with O'Neal – her heroic struggle to beat the disease was closely followed by her legion of fans.

This is heartbreaking. In the ‘70’s she was my fantasy girl, as she was to every red-blooded guy.
No one mentioned her in Saturn Five. She co-starred with Kirk Douglas and Harvey Kietel in a somewhat cheesy Sci-fi. He brief topless moment was the only reason I watched that movie. Kirk Douglas smiled knowingly (and probably out of character) at eh beginning of the scene. Farrah pulled it off with class. (no pun intended)
Earlier this week, Ryan said he’d asked her to marry him yet again, and she said “Yes.”
It’s too bad she passed away without marrying him.
She was a very lovely woman, and she will be missed.
I had read your reply earlier in the day. Then when I was driving home from work, listening to the radio, and heard the news, I thought about your prediction.

Farrah was hot, but the hottest “Angel” was Jaclyn Smith! Even now she blows away 90% of the ‘hotties” out there! Hell, I’ve even watched her goofy hair cutting show. Cheryl Ladd a THISCLOSE second, Farrah third.
I know I was at work after I predicted it. At work an old friend sent the FWD text message that Michael Jackson died.I was busy as can be at work freaked a little bit.It is eery. LOL I have been known to see things before they happened, in life no crap. I want to go back and see the time I said this in EST.
Tell me about it. I freaked when I heard he did die so soon after I predicted it.I was at work and paused during pet surgery and breathing tubes. I could not think about it until I got home I was so busy.
