Smith was arrested on complaints of prostitution and suspicion of driving with a suspended license. The man was not arrested. Why bother? He would have just pleaded insanity.

Poor reporting. The poor bastard that gave her the chips was obviously blind.

You have to wonder where he got the case of chips. Employee perk? Or did it "fall off the truck"?
I have a feeling that Smith may soon be in the unemployment line.

Smith was the prostitute. She’s an independent contractor.

You ever notice that in all these threads involving sex, the people in them are, shall we say, not attractive?

Although I disagree with your amoral libertarian conclusionthat prostitution should be legalyour logic is correct: According to the bible there is no difference between an immoral womanwho would sleep with someone after a dateand a prostitute. To believe this is not being libertarian, it is being for freedom, freedom to chose your own path in life without government interference or at least the very minimum of interference. There is no difference in oulawing prostitution and requiring women to wear burkas, they are both laws enforcing religion.

Correction to last post The government has no business telling women they can't rent themselves out. It is a sin, yes, but that is between the prostitute and God and is neither the governments business or yours. It is simply another way to interfere in people's lives and, in this case, to make money, in fact most large cities simply use prostitution laws as another revenue enhancer.
