In the Parade Magazine interview he told the interviewer: “…we need fathers to step up, to realize that their job does not end at conception; that what makes you a man is not the ability to have a child but the courage to raise one. As fathers, we need to be involved in our children’s lives not just when it’s convenient or easy, and not just when they’re doing well — but when it’s difficult and thankless, and they’re struggling. That is when they need us most.” At the Town Hall meeting following the White House Barbecue for young men he said: “If we want our children to succeed in life, we need fathers to step up. We need fathers to understand that their work doesn’t end with conception -- that what truly makes a man a father is the ability to raise a child and invest in that child.”
What is implicit, actually what is explicit, is that President Obama, in emphasizing the ongoing obligations of fatherhood, also acknowledged that Fatherhood begins at conception. Such an admission brings with it an extraordinary implication; every intentional abortion constitutes the killing of some father’s son or daughter. Yes, his comments to the young men concerning the continuing obligations of fatherhood were helpful. But what are we saying as a Nation to all men through our current public policy concerning legalized abortion? Anyone who has counseled, prayed for or known a man who has allowed the mother of his child (or worse encouraged her) to seek an abortion, knows that there are three victims of this evil act. The mother, so often lied to, the child, innocent and deserving of life, and the father, who through his participation in the killing of his child is forever changed.

BACKGROUND Legislation was presented on the federal level and in various states called the Born Alive Infants Protection Act. It stated all live-born babies were guaranteed the same constitutional right to equal protection, whether or not they were wanted. BAIPA sailed through the U.S. Senate by unanimous vote. Even Sens. Clinton, Kennedy and Kerry agreed a mother's right to "choose" stopped at her baby's delivery. The bill also passed overwhelmingly in the House. NARAL went neutral on it. Abortion enthusiasts publicly agreed that fighting BAIPA would appear extreme. President Bush signed BAIPA into law in 2002.
But in Illinois, the state version of BAIPA repeatedly failed, thanks in large part to then-state Sen. Barack Obama. Obama worried aloud that legislation protecting live aborted babies might infringe on women's rights or abortionists' rights.
In 2003, as chairman of the next Senate committee to which BAIPA was sent, Obama stopped it from even getting a hearing, shelving it to die much like babies were still being shelved to die in Illinois hospitals and abortion clinics.
BAIPA passed in 2005.........after Obama left.

Barry worked to protect serial murdering in Illinois. Apparently, Barack the Wicked believes a father is to be acknowledge so long as a female wants that acknowledgment and does not want to hire a serial killer to off the child.

There is NO WAY Zero can spin himself out of this one. His statement is SELF-EXPLANITORY.
He acknowledges that fatherhood begins at conception.
Therefore life begins at conception.
Therefore for a pregnant woman that life is not a “choice” but a responsibility.
Liberals spend all their effort in denying responsibility. From health care to child bearing to ones economic situation for the liberal it is all about transferring responsibility to someone else or denying responsibility completely as is the case with abortion.
Too bad he can’t or won’t prove which father actually conceived him.
Does that mean like we should eat healthy and play outside more too?
IMO So what if he says men should step up at conception he still thinks a woman should have the medical choice to about her child even late term.
He lacks sincerity in what comes out of his telepromter.

Obama Says A Baby Is A Punishment
Obama: “If they make a mistake, I don’t want them punished with a baby.”
Personally, I don't see any kind of "acknowledgement" in Obama's statement.
The pro-aborticide wiggle room is that at conception the father creates a "potential" human life, which can be slaughtered without conscience until it is leaves the womb, and perhaps for some time after that.
Y’all just don’t get it. You’re thinking too linearly, you’re thinking as if there is some independently existing objective reality. With the anti-Christ Obama, as with all liberals/perverts, there IS no objective reality.
ThusM if the woman who is pregnant wants her baby, doesn’t want an abortion, then the ‘’product of conception’’ is a baby, and the involved male is the father. From conception. But if the pregnant woman doesn’t want the ‘’product of conception,’’ then it’s a nere blob of tissue, not a baby, not a human person, and the involved male is no father at all!
Under the cultural marxism to which the anti-Christ subscribes, humans make their own reality, their own morality. It is the pregnant woman who decides whether she is carrying a human baby or a clump of tissue.
So, for the anti-Christ Obama, there is no conflict, no contradiction.
