While meaningless United Nations hand-wringing over the North Korean nuclear weapons program garnered the headlines, the world body is moving ahead with a global conference to lay the groundwork for world government financed by global taxes. The communist head of the U.N. General Assembly is leading the effort, but he is getting crucial support from "progressive" economists who advise the Obama Administration and the Democratic Party.
The United Nations Conference on the World Financial and Economic Crisis and Its Impact on Development, previously scheduled for June 1-3, will now take place on June 24-26.
U.N. General Assembly President Miguel D'Escoto is the U.N. point man on these "global governance" issues. We noted his role at the United Nations in a column last October. Now, even the New York Times is paying attention to what this crackpot has been up to.
D'Escoto, the Times said, believes the way out of the global financial crisis "should be lined with all manner of new global institutions, authorities and advisory boards," including the Global Stimulus Fund, the Global Public Goods Authority, the Global Tax Authority, the Global Financial Products Safety Commission, the Global Financial Regulatory Authority, the Global Competition Authority, the Global Council of Financial and Economic Advisers, the Global Economic Coordination Council, and the World Monetary Board.

So this was the carot Oboy offered to Hillary and Bill. Or the threat “Get behind me or you’ll regret it.”
The only way to unravel this mess will be with a revolution some day when the nation is finally ready and has had enough of the unraveling and disastrous Socialist experiment. Hopefully, the revolution will be done through the ballot box.
The sheep voted for Obamunism, and so they are going to get it good and hard.
This hopeychangey crap is only going to be fun for so long...
The Constitution doesn’t matter a damn to the socialist party.
The guns will. People are gradually moving from being afraid, to being angry.
They can go ahead and do it if they want another Civil War here.
Plan for it, as it is well on it’s way.
Scratch the Constitution under this regime. The 500M guns will, however, be in play.

Not to be picky, but I always hear 260-280 million guns. What’s more, some guns owners own a dozen or more, so how many gun owners are there and if 5% are willing to fight, how many will there really be? vs. 600,000 federal agents and 2.? million LEO’s.

The fascist statue dominates the plaza in front of the UN, symbolizes their desire to neuter the gun owners of America. How ironic that they selected perhaps the most emblematically America gun for this atrocity: the revolver.

Background-check counts suggest sale of 10 million a year for the last decade.
Some of those 10 million were transfers of used firearms.
Most were probably sales of new firearms.
The building in the background, no doubt, is protected by armed security guards.
