Its not, it is a picture of the first lady IMPOSTOR of the United States.
I read that showing bra straps was a fashion no-no.
CFDA’s credibility just took a dive!
Diane von Furstenberg wife to Barry Diller aka QVC.
Michelle is no trend setter. More like an Irish Setter.
when she was 18, she met Prince Egon of Fürstenberg, the elder son of a German prince and his first wife, an heiress to the Fiat automotive fortune. Married in 1969 and divorced three years later, the couple had two children, Prince Alexandre (born six months after their wedding) and Princess Tatiana, who were born in New York City. She is now the grandmother of three children. The Fürstenbergs’ marriage, though not popular with the groom’s family because of the bride’s religion, was considered dynastic, and Diane became Princess Diane of Fürstenberg at the time of the wedding, according to the Genealogisches Handbuch Des Adels: Fürstliche Häuser According to Bernardine Morris’s article in The New York Times, Diane von Fürstenberg, then separated from her first husband, had dropped her title from use in her professional life.
At the beginning of the eighties, she had an affair with Alain Elkann, Margherita Agnelli’s ex-husband, then an ex-cousin of her own ex-husband. From those days, she kept an excellent relationship with his children, Jaki, Lapo and Ginevra Elkann.
In 2001, she married American media mogul Barry Diller, with whom she had been involved, off and on, since the 1970s. In 2002, she became a naturalized U.S. citizen.
She is best known for introducing the knitted jersey “wrap dress” in 1973, an example of which, due to its important influence on women’s fashion, is in the collection of the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
She does have Zira’s hairstyle. After the election someone sent me a comparison photo of the two, and you cover up the faces the hair is exactly the same - MO stole Kim Hunter’s hairdo.
It is hard for most Americans to see how biased the media is regarding this administration, but people know ugly when they see it and this clearly shows the bias. She is a cow and dresses like one.
Ugh, she’s got ashy elbows. Fashion icon indeed.
I don't think she is butt ugly but she sure as he** isn't the beauty queen they make her out to be and her clothes are pitiful most of the time. The only outfit I have seen her photographed in that didn't look just awful was that pink thing she had on in the article about the garden the children grew and she took credit for.
Every night this slop leads off as you sign on your computer. Tonight’s headline: “President’s name tops extra special list.” You’d think we lived in Cuba.
First Lady Laura Bush always dressed with class and dignity, appropriate for her age and office and she never received 1/2 the fawning fashion press that our Lady O has received.
She's got style alright. Who else would think to wear a combination of table cloth, apron, and wallpaper, with a man's pair of pants?
Did Laura Bush receive some attention from the fawning fashion press? I don't recall any during the entire past 8 years. Meanwhile, although I will grant that Michelle has managed to pick out a few nice outfits that fit her body well, the number of hideous and grossly fitting selections that she routinely wears is mind boggling. Most of what she picks accentuates the negatives rather than the positives. They are stunningly awful. I can't help but think of the story of the Emperor's New Clothes nearly every time I read about the press going gaga over her nonexistent fashion sense.
You can tell the days she picks out her own outfits because she
dresses herself like a cast-away, wearing whatever mismatched
flotsam and jetsam that happens to wash ashore.
Michelin man Obama is NOT a fashion icon. It makes you wonder where all these fashion experts were when First Lady Laura Bush was on the scene. She was always dressed appropriately had fashion sense and was attractive.
I find the whole “fashion icon” thing hysterical. I remember reading an interview during the campaign where MO was smearing the traditional first lady concerns and swearing that her reign would be more than redecorating and ball gowns. Uh huh. So far, she’s changed the artwork in the WH and become the fashionista for fugly. But, to be fair, she probably is much too busy planning all those Wednesday night WH parties and ‘romantic’ date nights to settle down and show us what a 21st century feminist first lady looks like....
I guess you can polish a turd.
