Well afterall it is Memorex Wednesday, Savage mentioned yesterday on his show that this UK banning thing has affected him deeply, he can't go out on his boat with Teddy and enjoy himself anymore, a poster on yesterday's thread says that Savage appears nervous when out in public, it's a shame a patriotic citizen like Savage can't even peacefully enjoy the fruits of his own labor anymore in his own country thanks to all the enemies within.
He's a walkin' bullseye, I'm surprised he even goes out in public without a disguise, he really needs to be more careful more than ever now. He also mentioned he was having eye trouble yesterday, that doing the show was not worth going blind, that's another factor why he left early yesterday.
With the attacks on Savage by the left and the lack of support for him from the right, his failing health and probably his failing ratings, what impetus is there for Savage to continue putting his neck out there on the line? Sadly, looks to me like the writing is on the wall for Savage to finally hang it up after a successful radio career, and who could hardly blame him?

no we need a mike church and andrew wilkow thread. btw if savage retires, I would love for one of those 2 to fill the time slot, ofcourse they are sirius only content so that would have to be worked out...sucks cuz I only hear them a few minutes at a time when I am shuttling stuff around at work :(

Where would the Nation go if Savage retires, there is no one like Savage, does anyone even come close? Guess many will gravitate toward the likes of Savage Jr.
Savage is very hard to pigeonhole, that's why even conservatives can't embrace him the way they should, iconoclastic Savage never followed the tried and true formula established by Rush of
Dems bad, Repubs good, of course there was a time when that formula was true but once the enemy conquered one party, it was time to infiltrate the other, Savage was the first to recognize this as with many other things.
Once Savage hangs it up, guess there will always be more talk show hosts but unfortunately I don't forsee there ever being another Savage.
