Crash Probe: Passengers on Air France Jet Had Terror Links
FOX News ^ | June 10, 2009

Two passengers with names linked to Islamic terrorism were on board the Air France flight that crashed in the Atlantic Ocean, killing all 228 on board, it has emerged.

French secret servicemen established the connection while working through the list of those who boarded the doomed Airbus in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on May 31.

Agents are now trying to establish dates of birth for the two dead passengers, and family connections.

There is a possibility that the name similarities are simply a "macabre coincidence," the source added, but the revelation is still being "taken very seriously."

A source working for the French security services told Paris weekly L’Express that the link was "highly significant."

There was that post 9-11 flight of disruptive Syrian “musicians” too.
If you recall that case, a bunch of weird actions on the flight.

When they landed, the Syrian music group disappeared.

But if nobody is terrorised, then can it be terrorism? I know a lot of people have been bereaved, but the general flying public is not particularly worried.I hope the blackbox is found.

> Maybe some kind of device that jams the instruments, like a mini EMP.

Good guess. I think you’re right, or very close.

Anyone see the piece last night on either CNN or Fox News about the three U.S. citizens who are on the Terrorist watch list? Two are former U.S. military, with one being a pilot for an American Airliner, who is also qualified to carry a firearm on board the plane when he flys. The third is a third grade boy. All three have the same first and last name - though I don’t recall what it was. Kinda makes this report a bit weak IMHO.

How many more cars could they possibly burn in france?

Maybe they'll move on to Italy and burn some Chryslers.

Freepers do it because either, a) they like to show how not afraid of terrorism they are, or b) they're posting here with an agenda.

Maybe those muzzies started talking trash and just before they were wupped by those passangers, they blew up the plane. Maybe they were going to attack a target in France.

We ought to blame the terrorist anyway and exact revenge.

A man that works for the company I work for, in the PR facility, has the same name as someone on a terrorist watch list. Because of that, nothing can be shipped to him, directly. Really weird.

When I was at the airport last year there were some muzzies who came over to the area where I was waiting to board my flight. I thought to myself “Oh great!”. It turns out the were on a different flight. I breathed a sigh of relief.

"they are doing all these little terror acts that look like natural disasters to deflect attention from themselves and yet get good kill numbers, while they work on something else." You are brilliant.

Or there’s the possibility that much of this stuff is terror related and we’re just being flat out lied to to avoid panic Yeah, because there is no way for a terrorist to get the info out.

Yeah, because if they let it be known that they can circumvent security at airports there wouldn’t be as much economic damage (/sarc - there is a growing number of FReepers who appear to have ingested large quantities of lead as children)
