Mrs Obama and her daughters Sasha, 10, and eight-year-old Malia enjoyed a crash-course in 1,000 years of English history during their hour-long visit to the abbey.

oh ok. i wasn’t sure at what point he was doing his organizing.
It is a lousy outfit, but why put it that way? Why make it about race?
The girls are cute, and their dress is just right for their ages.
Where does she shop? Seriously??
When I see MO wearing this much makeup . . . sculpting blushes, highlighteners, lip pencils, false eyelashes....ESPECIALLY at daytime events...I can't help but wonder who she really wants to look like.
I guess it's a 'guest' of one of them (at taxpayer's expense!). Ain't life grand in the Obama's world?! Never mind that millions are out of jobs while they are touring & shopping (with guests no less)!
Malia is a cutie pie. Always smiling.
Remnant sale!
There are polka dots on her BELT!
“That was some idiot posting on The Telegraph posted they are rich and paying their own way... person is clueless, they flew there on military 757, the only thing they are required to pay us back is commercial fare... we are footing the bill for her entourage.”
Evenings in New York, vacations in Europe—could you imagine the media if this were a Republican administration? I heard on the news last night that Chicago had been bumped to the top of the list for the 2016 Olympics. Maybe the Obamas are handing out some of that stimulus money to the Olympic organizers?? Ain’t life grand on other people’s dimes...
Million Michelle Math? Two too small cardigans = one that fits?
Ugh.
Touche! :-) LOL.
They descreated one more place.
Maybe it is one of her daughter's craft projects? Pipe cleaners, artificial flowers, scrap trim...you know, the usual leftover assortment of - ahem - junk in the trunk.
I wonder if she read the epitath of the great abolitionist William Wilberforce...
In an age and country fertile in great and good men, he was among the foremost of those who fixed the character of his times.
Because to the high and various talents, to warm benevolence and to universal candour, he added the abiding eloquence of a Christian life.
It is around the side on the north side, just even with the Rood Screen. If you're there for just an hour, you won't see it. Besides, he's just another Dead White Guy
I observed on another thread that it looks like it was put together by a Girl Scout troop. What’s the superlative of “unbelievably hideous”? (And what *did* Pat do with the Unabridged ... hide it under his pillow?)
Sadly, I must assume you to be right on that subject.
Oh that I would have the opportunity to visit England. The Abbey would be well-visited .. slowly with much awe. The British History Museumn, I’m told, has the Book of John for viewing. thud. So much history - too much history to take a sprinting peek like MO most likely did. What a shame.
I understand. Same with the Clintos. They hardly had a pot to pee in when he came on the scene; even though he was Gov and she had a cushy law job.
