Gay Marriage Will Lead to the Downfall of Society

... The next belief that is thrown at those who disagree with homosexuality is that people are born gay—they can’t help who they are. The only conclusion I can come to is that this silly way of thinking was thought up in an effort to make people feel sorry for gays, thus changing their opinion on the whole concept of homosexuality. I come to this conclusion because the idea that homosexuals are born gay is both factually and medically incorrect. No one is born gay, it is a lifestyle choice. There are many documented cases of homosexuals changing their sexuality and becoming heterosexual, and in fact, homosexuality was removed from the American Psychiatric Association’s list of mental disorders by none other than a gay-activist.

Dr. Robert L. Spitzer, a gay rights activist himself, performed a study to see if homosexuality can indeed be reversed. Published in the Archives of Sexual Behavior, his findings show how 200 homosexuals changed their sexual desires and began to live heterosexually, thus proving that they do in fact have a choice—homosexuality is reversible. But that’s not all—more recently in 2004, hundreds of former homosexuals wrote to two prominent newspapers, the New York Times and USA Today, and explained how they had changed their sexual nature and were now living heterosexual lives. The bottom line is, if someone can change the way they live, or reverse something that they have been doing for years, then it is a choice.

This article makes several good points. I don't support gay marriage or related sexual activism. I think it is generally bad for society much as I view other things like single motherhood and men who behave badly.

The limit is pushed one step further with Gay Marriage. It takes something that is so clearly wrong whether you look at it from a secular or religious point of view and and attempts to make it normal. This is all without consideration of the invalid arguments that are being used to make the case for gay marriage. The empty headed exhortations seeking equality for something that is by definition not equal. It is dangerous in that it dumbs down the not only definition of marriage but also of civil rights. Being a black man is not a behavior and homosexuals have never been made to sit in the back of the bus.

“Back of the bus”? Of course not. I don’t want them behind me. Besides, they all have BMWs and Mini-Coopers anyway.

This “born gay” thing is only a transitory position. Once they secure the position and “acceptance” they want by this means, they’ll be not only openly admitting their choice but even more aggressive in recruiting “fresh meat”.

“Gay Marriage Will Lead to the Downfall of Society”

All it means is that reasonable people will never be able to determine the rules of society - they tyranny by the minority works so in a sense society will fail but in a large sense, it means the bottom; “I don't care about you wins.”

Amnesty for illegal immigrants as well as socialized health care will also lead to the downfall of society. This country really is screwed.

There are studies that show clearly that it will be the kids of urban single mothers, especially the young boys that will be their “recruits”. The whole focus on this issue the lifting it up as “civil rights” alongside the plight of blacks is just wrong. Who would’ve dreamed that a sexual disorder would ever be equated with the dream of Martin Luther King. He did not say “I have a dream where all young men will be judged by the content of their sexual peculiarity” but that is how far the civil rights movement has fallen. It is disgrace and a further testimony to the increasing level of surface thinkers who emote themselves from idea to idea without the concern or ability to comprehend the consequences of what they support.

What I find shocking is how quickly the goalposts have been moved in terms of tolerance of homosexuals.

1980: Please stop beating us up.

1985: Allow us to come out of the closet and show our pride.

1990: We’re dying from AIDS and you must give us free condoms and health care.

1995: We demand you not discriminate against us in housing and employment.

2000: We demand you teach gay tolerance in schools.

2004: We demand civil unions.

2007: We demand gay marriage.

2009: We will silence and destroy you if you aren’t behind our cause.

I was with them when they didn’t want to be beat up and I could side with them in some (not all) discrimination issues but now I’m “intolerant” or “homophobic” if I so much as speak in disapproval of their ever-increasing demands. Once they get gay marriage, what will they demand next?

this guy also not only reversed the homosexuals and they had heterosexual families.... the media ignored this guy dr spitzer ..he was the guy that took homosexuals off mental disorder list.. nobody mentions a homosexual has a life expectancy of a male from 1860’s and a 50-50 chance to make it to age 65.

people also don’t mention that an average homosexual has over 100 sexual relationship 125 or more is the death sentence of aids

it pisses me off that they do fundraiser for aids using blood infected kids 2.5% of the cases of aids... cowards

“Democrats” + Obama + ignorant minorities in the majority in major cities + Islamists recruiting ignorant minorities + “moderate” or “enlightened” minorities supporting or silent over excesses committed by minorities + taxpayers forced to subsidize the lazy, criminal, immoral, drug addicted, drunks, illegal aliens and broodmares dropping bastards = DISASTER.

That is, I think, a very good way to say it.

Once they get gay marriage, the next goal will be group marriage and polygamy and polyamory.

The goal has been to get the concept of homosexual marriage enshrined in our laws. Then, once that concept of homosexual monogamy is “normalized”, they will move on to groups, with any number and any gender of partners. These were stated goals of gays outlined many years ago. Once they achieve certain goals, then the goal posts get moved as they continue with their agenda.

The every day life of gays has never been better than it is in the year 2009, but they outwardly seem angrier than ever before. With so much progress of their agenda, they seem as frustrated as ever as they criticize our society for being so homophobic and other such “crimes”.

No they don’t but we will all pay for it in greater disease, greater societal cost. People are so uniformed on this issue, so uneducated. They don’t see the coming storm and the media isn’t helping but we can stop it. Most people aren’t committed to the idea that Homosexuality is normal. Prop 8 shows that even young people can be brought around on the issue. The problem we have is not lack of tools but lack of will. We have all the facts and figures we need to turn this around. I personally hate having to spend so much time on this issue. It is like Global warming and absolute construction of lies and half truths and we are seeing policy made based exactly on that. If Conservatives can not fight for the truth then what in the hell are we fighting for?

Gay Privilege. — Anyone who wants to have sexual intercourse with someone of the same sex may legally coerce that person into complying.

Militant “gays” are kind of like Islamic militants who insist that we kafirs must recognize that “Islam is in each and every one of us!”

Check out the videos. These people can be violent.

I don’t acknowledge nor accept that we must include homosexuals in the ranks of we anti-jihadis. Homosexuality is rampant in Islamic societies. Islam is as profoundly anti-woman as it is hypocritical in its pronouncements on the subject.

Deus vult!

I like that tagline.
Most people don’t realize that Jesus did tell his deciples to buy a sword.

Luke 22:36
He said to them, “But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one.

I agree wholeheartedly!

An attraction is not something you are born with. And even IF it was, that would not mean you HAD to act on it. Much like abortion, these folks on the left take on the mantra that they have to act on their impulses. They do not. None of them. If I am attracted to my married neighbor, or a friends husband, I should not ever act on that, no matter how strong the attraction. To say otherwise is to ignore the clear difference between right and wrong.

Maybe... but that could flow naturally from the coercion, couldn’t it?

In reference to their ever increasing demands, society should never tolerate the intolerable.

The dumbing down of morality and the blurring of the lines between right and wrong, all will be the downfall of society. Those two things are the only things that keep a society productive and successful, with the majority of people “doing the right thing”. That is what keeps us contributing, law abiding member of society, NOT laws. Take those away, we have anarchy and chaos.

If gay marriage is legalized, then they will have to allow Muslim men to marry multiple women, and the FLDS leaders to marry multiple women.
