Hussein: "I want (Sotomayor) walking up those marble steps and starting to provide some justice."
Rush Limbaugh .com ^ | 5/28/09 | The Maha

Posted on 05/28/2009 11:30:51 PM PDT by Libloather

**SNIP**

I don't want to shut her up. I don't think she should be censored. But the double standard here, we're talking about the Supreme Court, the highest court in the land where policy is made, according to this woman, and where policy should be made. Look, bigotry is bigotry. Racism is racism. Superiority is superiority. Contempt for people beneath you is contempt for people beneath you. Thinking you're better than everybody else is thinking you're better than everybody else. This woman has all of this. There's not a whole lot of humility here. In fact, I want to go back to this program yesterday, as I play a sound bite of me, which are always some of the best sound bites we play, followed by a sound bite of Obama also in LA yesterday after he told everybody the economy's coming back from the brink and they ain't seen nothing yet in a state that's bankrupt, he then talked about Sotomayor. Here is what I said yesterday on this program.

RUSH ARCHIVE: We have here an angry man with a chip on his shoulder, not some cool, calm, collected guy, but a cold, calculating, angry man who did hear what Jeremiah Wright said for 20 years while sitting in the pews of that church in Chicago. He did hear what Bill Ayers said about America. America's unjust, it was constituted as unjust, and that unjustness permeates to this day. So now it's time to change all that and we're going to change all that by desecrating the Constitution. Hence, Sonia Sotomayor.

RUSH: Now, I think in this bite you're gonna hear Obama let his guard down at this LA fundraiser. He's with buddies, he's off prompter, and you listen. It's just a short bite, it's 12 seconds.

OBAMA: This woman is brilliant. She is qualified. I want her confirmed. I want her walking up those marble steps and starting to provide some justice.

RUSH: I want her to start providing some justice. I want her walking up those marble steps and I want her to start providing some justice. Meaning, it ain't justice coming out of there now. I want her walking up those steps, and I want her to start providing some justice. Street talk. This is the talk of somebody angry. I want her march up those steps and start providing some justice. Justice as she defines it, based on what she said. She's better at justice 'cause she's Latina, better at justice than the white guy. Now, folks, in a sane world, she would not have risen to the nomination level because of that one statement. Now, obviously the left, they believe her. The left believes what she is saying. They don't care about that. They're worried that she doesn't have an abortion record. They're worried about getting sandbagged on that.

But just as Obama is going to return the nation's wealth to its, quote, unquote, rightful owners, we're going to have justice, we're going to have Sonia Sotomayor walking up those steps, she's gonna provide justice finally. We're going to not only return the nation's wealth to its rightful owners, we're going to get even with the people who stole it in the first place, and that's the justice we're going to have. That's why she was chosen. Sonia Sotomayor was chosen for the express purpose of reflecting his racial attitudes. Let's be honest. He coulda chosen a different Hispanic; he coulda chosen a different female. He chose Sonia Sotomayor because she is the mirror image of his racial attitudes. I want her walking up those steps and providing some justice! Could have been Al Sharpton saying that.

I know the conservative movement is feeling a bit deflated lately. What has to happen is we have to hit the Capital switchboard hard like we did during Shamnesty.

We have to tell them we don't want a racist shredding the Constitution.

We have to tell them the only social justice we want is that which is explicitly derived from faithfully following the intent of the Constitution.

Zer0’s comments are the most disrespectful to date. There is a two word term to describe him, with the first letter of the first word being “A” and the first letter of the second word being “H”. When you hum it, quietly to yourself, it sound just like ass hole.

When you see statements from Barry like this one, and remember other things he’s said, and his longest closest associations, how can anyone not realise that he truly is a racist with a hatred of whites and an agenda of taking away our freedoms, rights, and property? Everything he does (and says, in his more unguarded moments) comes together to support this. He has it in for whites, with Mishrill as instigator- in-chief keeping the furnace stoked.

This is just crap.

I really hate my insomnia. I get no sleep, and I read crap like this at 1 am, and my lack of sleep brain cells freak-out with outrage.

I don't know how much more of this I can take.

That picture of the current Supreme Court Justices laughing with “the false messiah” in Roberts office comes to mind.
You know the one with zero leaning on Roberts chair, looking all smug and self-righteous.

I wonder if any of the Justices regret not hearing any of those eligibility (BC) cases yet.

When you try to condense a book representing years of thought and research into a half-hour talk, a certain amount of over-simplification is inevitable. With that understood, let me try to summarize the message of The Quest for Cosmic Justice in three propositions which may seem to be axiomatic, but whose implications are in fact politically controversial:

The impossible is not going to be achieved.

It is a waste of precious resources to try to achieve it.

The devastating costs and social dangers which go with these attempts to achieve the impossible should be taken into account.

This election has set race relations back 50 years, but the setback has been very deliberate, very intentional and very methodical. We first saw it coming during the campaign when anyone speaking against mr. O was labeled racist. We heard it again during the inaugural ceremony when the diddy about ‘white getting right’ was smiled at, then ignored by the press. We saw mr. O sit thru dinner speeches where racism was voiced and we've seen our justice department refuse to prosecute Black Panther (racists). So now that the real racists are in charge of the country, it's not just California where it's officially open season on male Caucasians by groups such as LaRaza. It's officially ok to down the white guy in every state. In public. On the street. In our schools and universities. By newscasters and by public officials. Hmmmm. Decades of affirmative action programs and billions of caucasian taxpayer dollars haven't done a thing to calm the racist agitators. Not when greed and power is involved. Boy, were we duped. So much for expecting a little gratitude. So much for a color-blind world. But don't you dare comment about mrs. S's racism or mr. O’s racism or that of his cohorts - you'll probably end up on some watch list in some neighborhood Acorn office. ;)

It may be some consolation to you to know that should she be confirmed (likely), the actual "payback" will come from the other eight jurists who will look at her puny mind as a metaphorical slap against their intellectual stature.

Liberal or conservative leanings notwithstanding, Souter aside, the current jurists take enormous pride in their writings and arguments. To think that they will now have in their midst such an intellectual lightweight will only demonstrate how puny and lightweight our camera-loving prez actually is and so demonstrates through presenting such an insulting nominee.

To be honest I do find a very, very, small amount of consolation in it. That picture I talked about earlier made me so angry.
It came out around the time many of us were hoping and praying that one of the eligibility cases would be heard.

Once I saw that picture of BO and the Justices, I felt like I got kicked in the gut.
I guess it is immature of me, but I am hoping a little reality brings them down a notch from their ivory tower.

She does seem to me to be a intellectual lightweight. But her apparent arrogance blinds her from the truth.

Being Hispanic is not a criteria for seating a Supreme Court Justice. More is being made about Hyphenated Soto than her actual judicial record. La Raza's demands for "respect and fairness" sounds more like latino for "clam up....or else we'll get physical."

HOW OBAMA GOT ELECTED Bush's "compassionate conservatism" turns out to have meant: (1) everybody in northern Mexico gets to immigrate free, (2) let's bump off strong conservatives in local government and education, and, (3) let's go ahead and succumb to Democratic budget blackmail.

THIS ABOUT SUMS IT UP Bush's stupidest and most condemnable act was to send Karl Rove to reassure the La Raza racists that Third World illegal aliens violating our borders that US laws would NOT be enforced to allow aliens to come here for a "better life."

Sap-happy Rove also suggested that, once here, criminals and lawbreakers would become so enamored with democracy, they would forget their corrupt ways and "embrace democracy and all it stands for" (famous last words).

Bush/Rove were sucking up to latinos and promising to turn the US into a Third World. AT THE SAME TIME illegals were getting 100% mortgages, flipping them back and forth between family members, then defaulting and absconding to Mexico with huge pots of money----leaving banks (and US citizens) holding the bag.

Thanks to Bush, tens of thousands of illegals hightailed it over the border after reading Mexican newspapers ads headlining : "Free Houses in the USA."

Illegals were establishing several identities with forged documents and stolen SS nos, getting on the US gravy train---and sending billions of US dollars back to Mexico.

OBAMA'S ALLEGIANCE TO THE THIRD WORLD Illegals are now lining up for Obama's stimulus freebies, govt jobs and appointments, thanks to Rove's creating a "Third World voting bloc" that elected Obama.

Side deals were made, and now these governments are salivating over getting their hands on more and more US assets (FIRST UP "helping" Mexico fight its bogus drug war. Means billions of US tax dollars start flowing into the pockets of federales.

Obama is obsessed with race. After reading several excerpts from his books I was convinced of this. He is an angry black man. He is setting his sights on a warped vision of “social justice” and perhaps a little revenge as an extra whipped cream topping.

With all due respect, Mr. President, Justice in a Republic is based on Law, NOT Emotion.

The Law of our Land says that the justices can only adjudicate the Law on specific cases, NOT manufacture new law to short-circuit the public deliberative and legislative processes.

Basically, the appellant courts, including the SCOTUS, decide on Corner Cases. Their decisions may be used as precedent for newer corner cases, but Law based on corner cases is BAD LAW.

The Civil Rights era allowed the Courts to usurp the Legislative function. While it was good to advance the case for equality before the law, it was bad to allow the Judiciary to usurp such power.

Look President Obama to be planting the seeds for a bloody angry backlash to take place

Let's get something really clear here.

Obama knows the civil-rights movement like the palm of his hand, and he knows Alinskyite guerrilla tactics backwards and forwards. He is a very dangerous opponent, and now he has the White House.

Provoking a backlash is exactly what the civil-rights movement was about. It was always the backlash and the political response of Northern liberals to the backlash that provided the biggest political payoffs for what I call a grownup version of "kick your sister".

And remember too, if you have any illusions about how ugly things could get, that Lincoln played the same game with the South. A million dead people later, had had everything he wanted, the planter class was destroyed, the South was destroyed, and the Constitution was putty in his hands. He put whole States into receivership because they didn't gee and haw to his call -- and he killed all their best men first, to make that happen. He took over their governments, denied the survivors all their rights, denied them self-government, and literally took everything -- everything -- away from them. He stripped them naked and threw them in the mud ..... the survivors, anyway. Lots of them were dead. (Northerners have never grokked the significance of it, that a President of the United States did that to people he freely conceded were citizens.) Oh, and Lincoln was a railroad lawyer. A lawyer did that. And he slept just fine at night.

Remember that. Violence pays, and you had damn well better have an idea how far your opponent is willing to go, to hurt you.

Think Obama would mind killing a fewscore million white people? Obama's a lawyer, too, just like Lincoln -- better school, though. Fancier. More rigorous.

Based on his comments under discussion today, that is a fair speculation, whether he would scruple at killing large numbers of white citizens, whom he hates. And remember what Bill Ayers said -- that to work over America, the Communists would have to make 25,000,000 people go away permanently. As in, holocaust.

When she succeeds at the inevitable, she will make the man that praised her brilliance, and qualifications without qualification an even bigger fool, and he will fall hard and fast.

Early in Obama's campaign for the presidency, my oldest grandson, then in his early 20s, asked me what I thought about having a black person as president. My grandson, whom I dearly love and who happens to live with us, is of mixed race, being one-fourth black.

I answered that I did not think a black person should be the president of our country, due to the fact that racism continues to exist and the majority of Americans are Caucasian and are entitled to equal representation.

From my observation, though racism exists among blacks and whites, I suspect that a black president will cater to black Americans. At this time in our history, many more blacks have earned the label "racist" than many whites. We certainly don't need a biased person in the White House, regardless of their ethnicity, who makes serious appointments based on color, nationality or religion. I'm fed up to my eyeballs with this evil political correctness crap.

It is evil!

“Wow. Judging an entire race of people based on the actions of some is the definition of prejudiced and/or racist. You just qualified with flying colors. Congratulations. And you wonder why no major politicans are willing to align themselves with Free Republic.”

Causcasian people have been experiencing this for years. No matter what is done, whites will never escape the label. Our most recent proof of this, is the white guilt vote that elected a radical, unknown, unqualified black marxist as POTUS. They didn’t even care about his associations such as Rev. Wright who proudly declared his hatred of an entire race as well as his hatred for this country. If the white guilt vote wasn’t enough, then we had the black voters who simply voted color. Obama and the African-Americans were not and are not ready to put country first, and that is my initial point, they can not move beyond their own skin and can not be trusted to make decisions for the entirety of this nation. No, I do not wonder why major politicans don’t align themselves with Free Republic.
