5pm Pacific, I will be on with Laurie Roth to discuss the Obama birth certificate controversy. Pursuant to the law in Hawaii, certain people have a right to obtain the birth certificate.
Those listed as entitled to obtain a copy of an original birth certificate include the person born, or “registrant” according to the legal description from the governor’s office, the spouse or parent of the registrant, a descendant of the registrant, a person having a common ancestor with the registrant, a legal guardian of the registrant, or a person or agency acting on behalf of the registrant."
Doug, lots of folks have an “ancestor in common” with Obama. His mother’s family have an extensive genealogy on the internet. Get back 5 or 6 generations and her lines are pretty much the same as my own ~ we had many ancestors who came from Lowville NY.
Indeed. So the question is “How far will have to go back to find someone in the lineage willing to make a demand for a copy?” Then, what will Hawaii authorities do when the demand is made?
