WASHINGTON - The National Archives lost a computer hard drive containing massive amounts of sensitive data from the Clinton administration, including Social Security numbers, addresses, and Secret Service and White House operating procedures, congressional officials said Tuesday.
One of former Vice President Al Gore's three daughters is among those whose Social Security numbers were on the drive, but it was not clear which one. Other information includes logs of events, social gatherings and political records.
Archives spokeswoman Susan Cooper said in a written statement that the agency was preparing to notify affected individuals of the breach. The representative of former President Bill Clinton has been notified, but Cooper gave no indication whether the former president's personal information was on the hard drive.

She’s calling Bill Clinton to notify him????
Why, he probably planned this second thievery.
An entire hard drive would have made a huge bulge in an otherwise inconspicuous area of Berger’s shorts
Hmmmm. My guess is the One’s masters need incriminating data to firmly and finally neutralize any threat of usurpation or resistance by the Clinton or Clintonoids
Given the hostile penetration of the archives, I wonder if they have checked out whether the Declaration of Independence and US Constitution are originals or copies from the gift shop.
As soon as I got halfway through this piece I was just wondering why this doesn’t either shock or surprise me.
Actually it is spelled Hsu, but I think you are on the right track.
Sandy Berger??? or hillary
Sandy Burger’s going to have to add training wheels to his shorts or his socks or both.
Sarcasm?
I’m hurt that you have to ask.
How else does one expect hillary to repay her $11 Million campaign debt
The author worded it poorly: “One of former Vice President Al Gore’s three daughters is among those whose Social Security numbers were on the drive, but it was not clear which one. “ The misplaced modifier indicates it was not clear which one of his daughter’s many SSNs was on the drive.
The National Archives should stop all operations involved with sharing any information it has, and continue only those operations that take in new information to be archived, until the security staff and procedures are totally overhauled.
Simultaneously, multiple independent prosecutors should be established to review every recent significant failure by the Archives to secure classified information in its possession.
Nazi’s antics?
0bama’s?
H3ll’s?
I must admit: the “Social Security number” angle is a nice touch of purposeful deflection. Someone learned well from the disinformation handbook. Nonetheless, it is remarkable how these archival “security breaches” only appear to affect Clinton-era documents, with no trace of suspect usage or access. Oh well: I’m sure the investigation will be as thorough as the last one.
Lost? I highly doubt that.
Didn’t Sandy just get his security clearance back?
I caught that on first reading it. I was fairly certain you knew that as well. I was just checking.
