On Tuesday, Liz Cheney, the daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, continued the familys air assault on Obama that began shortly after he became the nations first African-American president.
Speaking to FOX News, Liz took her fathers criticism of Obama a step further, saying that it appears the president is actually siding with terrorists. The insult was in response to the Obama administrations decision to release photographs alleged to show abuses at U.S. prisons in Iraq and Afghanistan during the Bush administration.
"I think it is really appalling that the administration is taking this step," she said in the interview. "Clearly what they are doing is releasing images that show American military men and woman in a very negative light." She continued: "I have heard from families of service members from families of 9/11 victims this question about when did it become so fashionable for us to side, really, with the terrorists. You know, President Obama has a lot of rhetoric about support for American military families, support for our men and women who are fighting for us overseas. But if he really cares about them, then he wouldn't be making such an effort to release photos that show them in a negative light."
The hundreds of photos in question were taken during more than 60 criminal investigations between 2001 and 2006, and allegedly show military personnel abusing detainees.
In recent weeks, Dick Cheney, who was rarely heard from during his eight years as vice president, has railed against President Obama, accusing him of making America less safe. His daughter told FOX News, that the Obama administration appears only to be interested in releasing things that really paint American in a negative light and don't give the American people a full picture of what went on."

I am black and even I don’t get my news from B.E.T. it is only good for watching old sitcoms and Caribbean music videos.
“Why include the token line about being the first African-American president? Relevance? Anyone?”
Obviously the line was included to imply that Cheney is criticizing Obamachev because he is a racist.
That's when you know the Cheneys are really scoring.
Congressional Republicans, are you watching? Hmmm??
Shortly after? Maybe I missed something but I thought this started recently, after BO went public with material. ?
It's now the month of May--they're making it sound like Cheney has been relentless since January.
Cheney is the lone voice in the wilderness until Sarah cranks up for the primaries in late 2010
I saw that too. Only injected in there to make the Cheneys’ “attack” on 0bama look racially motivated.
He is either African or he is American,,,apparently he is neither, his genetics are Arab, even though he was born in Kenya.
Amazing. Liberals are offended that the (currently) unpopular former Veep’s family dares to criticize Ogabe. I’m surprised they did not mention that Liz is a lesbian.
Agreed on that.
They want to make sure that we understand she is criticizing Obama because she is a racist.
I believe the president has now decided NOT to release the photos. Good work Cheneys!
Thanks Suga :)
Lest we forget...
Hmmmm, did you read the comments at the link? Food for thought.
Real descendants of American slaves who have done real research into their family tree like Alex Haley of Roots fame have discovered that slaves originated overwhelmingly from west central Africa. The slave traders overwhelmingly originated from northeast Africa, notably Kenya, Somalia and Sudan, the only place where it is still practiced today.
So Zero's ancestors have more responsibility for slavery in America than your average white guy's ancestors.
“I dont recall any outrage over the constant assault on the Bush Administration”.
...it’s a “black” thang. It’s BET.
