WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama wants a Supreme Court nominee who is not only schooled in the law but passionate about how it affects people's lives, a scholar willing to decide a case from the heart when the constitutional answer is elusive.
In many ways, he is in pursuit of someone like himself.

This is just mush. That’s all it is. Emotion in place of reason; political correctness in place of law.

a scholar willing to decide a case from the heart when the constitutional answer is elusive. Obambi has said that justice shouldn't be blind, it should pick sides before the case begins to balance for "economic justice".

Hey, you didn’t know while little adopted Barry lived in Indonesia, it was run by a military junta? Still is.

IIRC, you don’t have to be a lawyer, or, a citizen of the US, or, naturally born.

It amazes me how every day of the communist siege that this country is under that Obama and his press posse spit at The Constitution and nobody gives a damn.
Rumor had it that he was ready to pick Bernadine Dohrn for SCOTUS but decided against it because she was too centrist.

In other words, he’s looking for a reparations sympathizer.
“Economic justice” = reparations
Enough said.

I can see it now....Obama’s vetting committee question to potential scotus nominee: “How do you FEEL about the constitutional requirement that the president be a natural citizen of the Unites States?” Answer: “Frankly, that is an inappropriate question given the number of extremely important social policies the court needs to pave the way for.”

Doesn't matter what any of us think. He gets who he wants with enough votes in the Senate. He only needs 51 -- since the Repubs won't even consider filibuster. And even if they do, he'd only have to turn one RINO (or get Franken) to overcome that.
Elections have consequences.
