I agree, but I read in some reliable accounts that there were about 300,000 present at the Tea Parties, not 7,000. Maybe you’re referring to a local Tea Party (?)
Locally — We had two tea parties in our area, one was attended by about 4000 the other about 3000. I was talking what we rounded up locally. I went to both and would have had pictures except for a bum camera that decided that was the day to die.
Nationally the tea party attendees were over 800,000, maybe even as high as a 1,000,000. Who really knows.
