Ron Paul's (Almost) Sex Tape

After a huge worldwide success of "Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan," Sacha Baron Cohen, better known as Ali G, is releasing a new movie in July this year.

The new movie is titled "Bruno: Delicious Journeys Through America for the Purpose of Making Heterosexual Male."

In the movie, Cohen's character Bruno, a gay reporter working for "Austrian Boys Broadcasting," crashes fashion events and interviews unsuspecting guests about entertainment, fashion, celebrities, and homosexuality.

One of those interviewed for the movie by Bruno in early 2008 was Ron Paul, former Republican presidential candidate and US congressman from Texas.

According to the official Bruno movie website, during the interview with Paul, "Bruno gets the idea that you have to make a sex tape to become famous."

After some difficulties with the light on the scene, Bruno suggests that he and Paul wait in the other room while the crew fixes the light.

The other room is a bedroom, with a "spread of Champagne and strawberries and caviar on a table."

According to the official website, "Bruno tells Paul to make himself comfortable. Paul sits down on the bed. Bruno turns on some music and starts dancing. Paul is visibly uneasy but doesn't say anything at first. He picks up a newspaper and pretends to read it.

"Finally, Paul asks what's going on. 'Don't worry about it, Dr. Paul,' says Bruno, who then unbuckles his belt and drops his pants. At that point, Paul snaps up and storms out of the room."

The article on the movie website quotes a person present at the scene: "As Paul is walking away, you can hear him say, several times, something like, 'This guy is a queer!' The word queer comes out of his mouth three or four times."

Ron Paul will not be the only well known person pranked by Bruno. It is rumoured that among others, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Ben Affleck, and Paula Abdul will also appear in the movie.

The movie is rated NC-17 and is expected in cinemas around the world in July 2009.

If it's half as funny as Borat was it will be worth seeing.

At least Ron Paul didn't have to eat any cheese.

This was a sexually aggressive move.

Being a woman, I would have instinctively felt it was a sexual assualt set up and I probably would have committed a hate crime on camera.

I don’t know about others, but beating up sexual aggressors is instinctual for me. Maybe for men, it is not?

The Bruno movie will be hilarious. I think some of you don’t get it. His whole schtick is that he exposes idiot liberal fashion industry types. If you watch the original Ali G show you see how foolish he makes them look as Bruno.

He also interviews conservatives simply because he knowns the character will make them uneasy.

Did you see what Sacha did at the fashion show recently? He snuck in and got onstage wearing a ridiculous outfit made of pieced of fabric...classic mocking of the fashion industry.
