Democrats, being Democrats, don't usually think in such small time frames. Barack Obama promised to wean America off foreign oil in the next 10 years, or midway through his third term. But James Carville has raised him by a factor of four, suggesting Obamaism is in place until 2049 in a curious book entitled "40 More Years: How the Democrats Will Rule the Next Generation." "THE MYTH OF REPUBLICAN COMPETENCE HAS BEEN SHATTERED. . ." screams the back cover. "And I guarantee the Democrats will be the dominant party for the next forty years!" Wanna bet?

Is this like Karl Rove’s prediction of a permanent Republican majority? Carville and Rove should fight a ten-rounder, my money on Rove because Carville will be talking too much to notice the deadly left hook.
People need to get out of their pill-popping, hazy, everything is grey, there are no absolutes, blame the other guy comas and see what the hell is going on and do something about it, otherwise the smug bastard Carville may be right.
Personally, I will continue to donate money directly to candidates I deem worthy.
Otherwise, the time for either a. forming a new country (secession) or b. a mass exodus out of here and going to ___ to live has arrived.

Interesting title for the book. They have thrown out the charade of a future America that is free. They plan to “rule” us in every way.

If the Republicans play their cards right, Obamanation will have it’s wings clipped in 2010. I’m just not convinced the Republican party has a clue these days though.
