John Podesta, the head of a left-leaning think tank who ran the Obama transition team, is calling for the impeachment of Jay Bybee, a federal judge and former Bush administration official who wrote one of the “torture memos” made public last week.

In a letter to House Judiciary Committee Chair John Conyers (D-Mich.), Podesta says that since he has "issued opinions that violate the Constitution and concealed relevant aspects of his legal views and professional conduct from the Senate, Bybee has neither the legal nor moral authority to sit in judgment of others."...

“issued opinions that violate the Constitution”

Their audacity both sickens and fascinates me.

Podesta works for a Nazi operative, where’s his moral standing? (I’m correct CAP is a Soros contrivance?)

Isn’t Podesta a criminal of some kind? Why is he being allowed to comment on how our courts are run? He has close political ties with Blagoyevich and Rezko, and probably even knows where they stuffed Judge Crater.

If you ask me, it’s time to IMPEACH OBAMA!

He has failed in his oath of office to uphold our constitution and defend our country!

Speaking of Constitutional violations, Mr Podesta . .

Where’s your guy’s birth certificate?

I give it 50/50 odds right now, that Obama throws the Left a big hunk of fresh, bloody red Bybee meat, and soon. Obama could stop this in a moment, and the fact he isn’t tells me that he’s weighing the options of appeasing the far Left.

Can you imagine the volume of outraged, hateful e-mails he’s getting from far Left Du, Kos, Code Pinko and MoveOn constituents right now, urging him to immediately have Judge Bybee summarily removed (and probably a fair number of demands to have him killed outright...)??

He’ll cave.

How can you remove a judge just because you don’t agree with one of his opinions?

So it starts.....

In little less than a week and less than 100 days, the attack on Bush's administration is reaching crescendo.

Impeachment would need to happen in the House followed by conviction in the Senate. Obama can’t simply say off with his head.

And we’ll sit and do nothing. You know, it doesn’t affect me of my family. Had enough yet?

And... the presiding judge is the Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court. Roberts could make it very, very hard for the Rats.

Podesta is just doing what all of Obama's operatives are doing now.....using the "torture" issue to divert attention from the frightening failures of the stimulus packages.

The operatives don't even have to be directed what to say....they know instinctively how, what, when and where to say it on their own. They are a massive team, all on the same page.

These attacks from every quarter of the Obama administration are so obviously orchestrated it's almost funny. However, as with the demonization of Bush/Cheney, the strategerie works, and works well.

While the dreadful state of the economy is on everyone's lips at the moment, how many people do you know who are talking about the stimuli and bailout policies.

Masters of deceit and misdirection.

Bybee made these opinions PRIOR to his elevation to the court. There is no basis whatsoever for impeachment.

Podesta says that since he has “issued opinions that violate the Constitution and concealed relevant aspects of his legal views and professional conduct from the Senate, Bybee has neither the legal nor moral authority to sit in judgment of others.”...

THEN I guess all the liberal justices that support infanticide should also be impeached? I will go along with that....BUT Moral authority, what a joke, democrats own hell

Bybee should file a defamation suit against this Podesta, Leahy et al. Take preemptive action. They are exposing him to calumny. Knock ‘em back on their heels.
