(CNN) -- The homeless Florida woman who made a tearful plea for help from President Obama earlier this year is still jobless and might be homeless again.
Henrietta Hughes caught the nation's attention in February when she asked for help during one of Obama's town hall meetings.
After her plea, Hughes was given a free home to live in temporarily. But she is still struggling to find a job and might soon lose that home, CNN television affiliate WINK reported Thursday.
Hughes, who is in her 60s, goes to an employment center in Fort Myers in hopes of finding a job.
"It's almost our second home," Hughes told WINK.
She and her son have taken a computer class at the center to help land work. Hughes said she has applied for as many jobs as possible but has struck out. Her son has had no luck either.
Now Hughes says time is running out. The home she lives in was donated by the wife of a Florida lawmaker. Once the house sells, Hughes will have to leave.

“Hughes, who is in her 60s...”
I wonder what the exact age is. If she can start collecting social security, problem solved.
Aww geeze.
Don’t worrk, it wont be selling anytime soon.
She’s probably got Zero on speed-dial...he can cough up a few bucks for her. (yeah,okay...)
This woman owns property in her son’s name..
If we had a real professional media in this country, they would be following-up with all the utter imbeciles who truly believed that the simple coronation of Obamative Action, meant no more responsibility for such nasty inconveniences as mortage and automobile payments.
One of the first of many people who will find out it’s not wise to put your faith or trust in a committed socialist and America hater.
An example of hopin’ for change the Obama way.
For one Obama voter, Henrietta Hughes, hope and change went into the shitter.....
Didn't she work for his campaign and turn out to be a real estate investor, a crooked one at that?
How does one lose a “free home that was given to her”?
Well I guess he just hasn't gotten around to deciding whose home he's going to seize and evict the lawful owner from and then give to her.
Love to vacation on Sanibel Island just outside Fort Myers. Used to want to move to the Fort Myers area. However, I have heard the SW Florida economy is in terrible shape.
Flat scary out there even in areas like here in W. Texas where things are relatively good right now. However, problems exist even here, some layoffs etc. I am on furlough myself.
Ah, yes. The myth of the magic computer. If I can just learn how to surf the internet and type a paragraph in Word, I'll get a $100k job.
Yea-yea, but that was pre-election gibberish.
Obviously you've yet to Move-On, my friend.
"...didnt all things magically change on Jan. 20?"
Kind of.
For the worse.
The OBots hadn't considered that possibility, apparently.
OTOH all it'd take is zerO & My Belle Michelle to divert a small amount of the cash from his brother [sic] in Kenya, to his sista [sic] in FL.
Never let a good crisis go to waste anymore than a great photo op, I always say. ;^)
