TEL AVIV — A classified assessment relayed to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Obama and his senior advisers would incrementally diminish U.S. strategic cooperation with Israel developed over the last 20 years.
"Obama wants to make friends with our worst enemies and until now the worst enemies of the United States," an Israeli source familiar with the intelligence assessment said.
"Under this policy, we are more than irrelevant. We have become an obstacle."
Sad, but true. Under this administration, I think they look at Isreal not only as an obstacle, but a nuisance.
Sadly, so have have the people of the United States, under this administration.
Obama’s first major failure?
He SHOULD have said “LESS than irrelevant”! He is not a programmer!

Obama will replace Israeli intelligence on Iran with Iranian intelligence on Iran? Great strategy...to get us hit again.
Yes, its probably true. But, honestly, Bush wasn’t much better. Condi Rice and the State Dept were not on Israel’s side.
From Hussein O’Bama’s point of view, the only way to really make friends with Iran will be to replace Israel with Greater Palestine. I rather expect that is in the cards. Whatever Israel thinks it CAN do in respect to Iran It needs to do before it faces an American-enforced UN occupation of Israel itself.

I think Bush was pretty strongly pro-Israel during his first term. And toward the end of his time in office, it would have been pretty hard for him to be pro-Israel when the Israeli government under Sharon and Olmert was basically anti-Israel. How do you stand up for Israel when Israel won’t stand up for itself?
In any case, I certainly agree that Obama would just love to destroy Israel, given the chance.
And the American Jews adore Obama.
To call anything a failure for this president you have to assume he wants what we want, he just uses inappropriate means to attain it. I don’t believe that is the case. I believe that what he wants is the real diminution of the USA in the world and the destruction of America’s real and effective allies for the crime of having been reliably pro American.
